i need some company. these tornado siren are freaking me out. especially since adam's at work.

just got home from work about an hour ago and spent the last 45 minutes on the phone with Sallie Mae because they mess up my bill EVERY single month!!! ARGH!!!

unfortunatly, i'm in an apartment, so i don't have a basement (i am on the ground floor though).
so- how weird is this?
i'm scrapping/on the computer in the bathroom.
it's the only room w/o windows.
good thing i cleaned the bathrooms yesterday..lol.
*breannec*- i know how you feel. we're moving this weekend, and i've been on the phone trying to transfer electricity, cable, and whatnot to our new house. i swear, the people who answer the phones do not know what they are doing...lol.

I am here!! I'm with ya Allison11. The wind is crazy here!
I had a mini photo shoot outside earlier, and it was fun then, but now it's like scary!
I just finished one of my mini's and am uploading photos right now!!
I should be here tonight too.
My parents are driving back from STL right now. Right along the path of the Tornado.
Scary.
I keep calling them.

What state are you in, allison? I heard there were tornado watches where I am near chicago, but I haven't heard any sirens.

Yo! LOL! I hope you are ok Allison. We had tornados all around us but they seemed to have jumped over us and went north instead.
I am posting some stuff to my gallery. I did a layout for a challenge where I could only use stuff from my pantry. I was thinking I would hate what I came up with but I really like it considering the challenge.

i'm in missouri- southwest mo.
so far no sightings, but the sirens are enough to freak me out.
traci- i loved your take on the project runway candy challenge. i think i may do this LO after i go grocery shopping, cause all that's in my pantry are mike and ikes and pringles...lol.
and, i'm seriously contemplating doing the candy mini album someone suggested on the challenge thread. i am envisioning something cute- maybe a litte rami-esque

There were TORNADOES in Iowa today...can you believe that?? Earliest on record ever....just destroyed an apple orchard...good hting it was not someone's home!
And very warm here, too...have never seen soo many "steaming" roofs....wish I coulda got a picture of it...was really quite kool to see all the houses around me smokin from being warmed by the sun!
Going to go dash and grab some milk for tomorrow, but my wee one to bed cuz she is ooooh sooo sick and then possibly get some scrapping done!

momof, here in IL the tornados were really bad. WI got hit very bad. One tornado in WI leveled a lot of houses. I can't believe this weather! I hope everyone is safe. Gotta check on Pooks.

My parents made it to town, but are across town at my grandparents, and I am stuck here alone with the animals!
Ahh... I hate the bad weather at night.
During the day you can see it coming, but at night it's a whole different story.

OMG, I just almost got evacuated from Walmart!!! Of course as soon as I start shopping, the roof sounds like it's going to fall in from the rain and the thunder. Then when I go to get in line, an announcement comes over the loud speaker telling no one to panic, leave your carts, if you so choose. They said a tornado had touched down in Norton Shores which is 10 mins away. Everyone was on their cell phones calling their kids and I go to reach in my purse and get my phone and wouldn't you know I left it in the truck!! When i went into the store there must have been 300 cars and when I left there were like 75 cars!
Little scary, but more so because I couldn't call home!!!

The wind is really whipping up here ladies. I hear thunder in the distance, so I think I'm logging off and shutting down the computer to be safe. I would hate for it to get fried (happened to my mom, without it even turned on).
Stay safe, everyone!! Hang on, Heather! I hope they don't come up your way, but it's looking pretty bad down here.

I'm in Muskegon, Michigan!! Everything is fine here now, I even think the warnings and watches have moved to Severe Thunderstorms now, we just have lots of Thunder. I've never been scared before, until this time!! I was so worried that I wouldn't be able to get in touch with DH & DD!!!
