Hi there ladies, just thought Id start another thread. Im proud of my eating habits today, but I just realized-I havent weighed myself in IDONTKNOWHOWLONG! lol, I just dont like scales. I actually forgot I had one, tee hee. So, I guess I will go do that now (ergh!) so that I actually know if I do lose any weight. Hah. Anyways, I had my slimfast & then a banana in the AM, a lean cuisine and a rice cake for lunch with water and I also had another slimfast. Now, what to make for dinner...hmmmm.....

as I'm sitting here eating a cookie! :(
However.....I did my required exercises this morning. And after one week (which was how I was gauging it) I came very close to my goal. I know....very close isn't hitting it.
But, that's okay. These things happen. I'm not going to be hard on myself for not hitting it, I'm just going to try harder this next Tuesday to Tuesday.
I did more exercise this past week than I have the last month combined! So, that's a good thing. I think....tell my very sore thighs that!

i think tonight around 8 i'll do 1/2 cup of Vanilla ice cream

O, I forgot my "exercise" for the day. I didnt walk, but, I did go to a Wiggleworms music class (its a fun, interactive class for kids and parents/caregivers) so we were jumpin, movin and bouncin the babies lol! Tomorrow is school, so I will be walkin a lot around campus, but Im not sure about lunch yet...Stoppin at the store again in a few, so maybe I will pick up somethin good and healthy.

Just an idea for breakfast...this is what got me through when I was trying to lose weight and I am sure is what is going to help after I have my little one.
Frozen waffles! I get the Eggo Nutrigrain Lowfat. I think it ends up being like 1 point per waffle, but I would put tons of spray butter, drizzle some cinnamon and a packet of Splenda. YUM!!!

Yesterday was the start of a new Weight loss plan for Paschen and I. It is all about motivation. We are weighing ourselves every monday, and the goal each week is 2 lbs. whoever loses the least amount buys the other dinner. She is also doing this with a gal at work, but they are doing it for $20 per week!!! I am sick, so it is helping my diet out a LOT! :)

For me, as the junk in the house decreases, (no surprise here) I'm making better choices. Like, last night when I sat down to watch Project Runway, I knew I'd want a snack so I had...wait for it.....a grapefruit! Ta da! Okay, yes, I ate the whole thing, but that's so way better than chips or ice cream or just about anything else! :)
Also, I'm writing stuff down and just being aware and in tune is helping... I don't expect my lifestyle to change overnight - at my age I know myself better - but consistent, slow changes will STICK! :)
Hope everyone's having a good week! Jan

Well I started on Monday and so far I'm doing ok. I'm using WW online so I write down what I eat, it's helping me to see what I need to work on. I started out walking in the park but it got cold again so I'm having to find something to do in the house. I checked out The Biggest Loser workout so I'm planning on doing that today.
I checked my weight on the scale this morning just for a little mid week measure. I haven't lost any weight, not even half a pound. My goal was to lose 2 pounds a week so I'm a little worried about my weight in. Maybe I need to step it up a notch in the workout department.
I find that I really have to live and breath weight loss to make this work, I lost 20 pounds in 2006 but gained it back last year. So I have all my WW magazines out so I can go through them while I watch TV. I also try and limit the time I spend in front of the TV and computer when I'm home.

Just found this thread. Somebody pm me if I don't report in!
Trying new approach. I threw out (hubby hid in the garage somewhere) my scale last week. Now I have to go on how I feel, not the number, and hopefully the pants will be too big soon. I only walked once this week, but I was sick and had zero energy. Better next week :)
