giuseppina Style Maven (716)	# Posted: 7 Jan 2008 00:13 so the date went well :) he was actually WAY more nervous than i was which put me at ease. we had lunch, although i barely ate anything! ended up being there for 3 hrs! he brought me a little christmas present (harry and david chocolates) which i thought was very sweet. we talked and laughed alot. there were awkward silences of course. so i kept asking questions. he said when i walked in he was really happy. he said my pictures didn't do me any justice. (aww!) i don't know if i can say the same for him. he's cute but to be honest i don't know if i can describe him because i was listening to him instead of just staring at him...but he's super sweet. we'll see...

Dating sucks, plain and simple, but when a date goes smoothly, and the guy is nice and sweet, then it's so worth it!

I agree with Stacey...I would much rather have someone I enjoy listening/talking to than someone who has nothing interesting to say and his looks just overwhelm me. I will say though -- that when I finally found the right one...he had both -- to me...I think he is totally CUTE....and I could talk to him for hours (10 years after we met -- I still have a long list of things I want to talk with him about). Just enjoy....keep the pressure off of it...if you can.
