You are my husband's dream Angie. I've seen it all once and that was quite enough for me. I don't think he would ever tire of it...ever.

I was waiting to see the Star Wars trilogy come up (the original of course) glad it finally did.

Ok for me - movies I can watch again and again:
Star Wars trilogy (original of course)
Lord of the Rings (any of them)
Harry Potter movies
Much Ado about Nothing
Finding Nemo
Shrek
The Incredibles (currently my kids are going on a three month streak with this one, I can actually say every line and let me just say those Pixar folks are geniuses I see something new every time. I think they knew I would have to see it 100 times)
Galaxy Quest - this is seriously one of the funniest movies. I know practically every line. I watched it while in labor with my son Chase. I thought we would be at it for awhile so we popped it in. I would close my eyes when a contraction would come on and usually come out saying each line and laughing. It actually is quite the memory - hmm need to scrap that.
Princess Bride

and so many more but I can't think of them right now.

Has anyone else ever watched Relative Values? That movie is flippin' hilarious! So many awesome actors in it, too - Julie Andrews, Stephen Fry, Sophie Thompson, and Colin Firth as Peter = LOVE.

*squee*

I'm a sucker for British comedy. ;) I also adore the Jeeves and Wooster series, with Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry. Absolute brilliance.

Anything Jane Austen, with the exception of the 2005 Pride and Prejudice. Yicky stuff. The 1995 version is SO much better. Plus it has Colin Firth. *swoon*

Dumb&Dumber{come on! admit it! You quote the lines, too!}

That's all that's popping into my head, but there are so many on everybody else's lists that I ditto!

:)

I'm a sucker for British comedy.

Speaking of those, I would add "A Fish Called Wanda" to my list. Good gosh was that movie hysterical, and a friend and I still quote lines from it :)

I don't always get British humor though, but maybe Wanda isn't considered a true British comedy since it also starred Kevin Kline & Jamie Lee Curtis and wasn't a solely British cast??

lots of my faves already listed - wouldn't we have a blast if we had a movie marathon/scrap fest?!

Tallynt reminded me about your kids only wanting to watch one movie over and over. One time it was "Brave Little Toaster", which I hated. A lot. But after watching it about 1,000 times, I finally started to see some humor in it. And have been known to reference it in conversation. But I always have to explain the reference.

Like when someone is nice to your face but snotty behind your back? It's just like the new appliances in the apartment in the city. Y'know? :)

You will LOVE it, especially as you love the J&W series!! I was going to tell you to watch for certain scenes, but then I realized I'd just end up quoting practically the entire movie. ^_^ So find it quickly! And then let me know how you liked it. :)
