I was bad..
We cropped yesterday, so very little excersize and
of course, we ate dinner REALLY late.
Today, i've been good. veggies for the most part
and chicken tonight for dinner.
I think i'm heading out to go snow shoeing this afternoon!!

But, its ok...even though there are bumps in the road..keep
on getting back on track!!
How did everyone do over the weekend?

um, yesterday tilapia, veggies and white rice for dinner, yum! After lounging all day and not eating much. Today friends are stopping by so I've been cleaning all day and had a rice cake and banana. In a few, Im off to the store to get my slim-fast and more 'nanas and other good stuff. Question is-what to pick up to munch on w/friends 2nite that isnt too bad?Exercise will come more next week-hopefully.

Jackie, have you tried hummus??? Get some baked pita chips and it is not too bad. Also, blue corn chips and salsa. Salsa is good on everything.

not sure about hummus-I know it is a healthy snack but...I will pick up some blue corn chips-thanks for the idea-I was just gonna get nachos and cheese-sodium rich and fattening too! Any other ideas? lol, Im leavin after i finish my cheese stick snack and dont want to make bad decisions. I AM going to pick up soda for them, but Im pretty confident in myself-I have really gotten accustomed to drinking mostly water.

I also got a WeightWatchers recipe online for a creamy taco dip-looks yummy. The hardest part in all of this for me is that healthy things are so often more expensive, and not having a lot of money sux. I used to always say that you cant be on a budget and a diet at the same time...But, I know there are ways, and that I can do it. Im a smart shopper!

i totally agree.... and they never show commercials for healthy food... always for a yummy burger or steak..... that is what gets me....

i am trying the special K thing, for morning and lunch and then a lean cusine or weight watchers meal for dinner.... trying at least....

i have been taking an adult gymnastics class for a month now though and i have lost over 10 lbs.... and i feel more toned.... but i am still not ready for a bathing suit

I didn't like hummus either until I tried the garlic flavored. MMMM....especial garlic and red pepper flavor with real red peppers in it. Oh yum!

That's right....so everytime I do it, I come here and admit to it and the calories will zap away! Don't I wish! LOL!

okay, so I just got back frm the store...Got hummus-I think its the regular kind tho...darn! Also got whole wheat pita chips, salsa and stuff to make the WW thing...took me 4ever! lol, to find the blue corn chips (the Jewel by me sux!) Got soda for the guests, and Im still downing water :) Some veggies to snack on, and my house is cleaner than I think it ever was (just moved like 2months ago) so Im happy. Now, we'll just see how it all turns out. Do you think chicken tenderloins *not breaded and fried, but baked in the oven* will taste okay?! I have bbq sauce and ranch so I was thinking of making that but dunno...

I have tried for the last week to get on track, eating better and exercising. 5 out of 7 days I did well, but only 1 lb. Hoping for 2 this week. The 4 beers ( Ulta Light) last night didn't help I guess.

I think the chicked would be fine.
Seriously, its all in moderation I think. If you give up EVERYTHING
you'll totally fail.
Make sure you're being realistic!!!
Try eating them with honey mustard(if you like it)
its really really low in almost everything

thanks for the response, hun! O ya, I tell everyone that about moderation, and I am def. realistic-just didnt want my friends to be like wth is this? They are hungry and on their way, so Im thinkin Im gonna have to resort to my good ol fashioned mac n cheese to go along with it, lol...Not healthy but yummy, and I'll jus have a lil :)
