I was doing South Beach. I am done. Lasted two days

I did ok today I went out this am with the moms group I would usually get a bagel but I just got a tea. So I did good there but I meet the hubby for lunch and had a slice of pizza but thats only 6 ww points so I am still in the clear. lol

I think South Beach can be a "for life" way of eating....just the first 9 days is different. It detox's your body of all sugars, forcing your body to react differently to foods.

Regardless....I've only ever done it for that initial 9 days. It def. worked. And I want to do it again....one of these days.

WTG! That's hard when you're in a social setting!

I was doing South Beach. I am done. Lasted two days. It is just not realistic when I have two kids and a husband to cook for. I am not making two meals. I need to learn to eat the way I am suppose to eat for the rest of my life, and SOuth Beach is not a rest of the life kinda thing.

- i'm so thinking the same thing!!! but just like kitleen says i'm doing the first two weeks to purge! then i think i'm going to a low fat/low carb diet. my parents did south beach and yes the 1st two weeks is unrealistic and horrible - buy they learned to eat healthier and now 3 years later they are still trim, healthy & happy.

Week six...
I got up this morning and I had a great upper body work out. I did not want to start this at the beginning of the year, so I started it over a month ago. It was a challenge the first two weeks.

Now I can actually notice some changes from being consistent.
