i sure do know how to pick 'em.
"i just want to let you know that i'm not interested in dating right now." though i think that translates into not dating ME, to be honest. but whatev. he was up front and i super crazy appreciate that.
ah well. :)
the movie rules! and now i have someone to see movies with, so really, that rules too. :D
plus i grow on people like barnacles. ;)

I just had a flashback.
I met this guy through my cousin like 4 years ago. Well, we talked online for a long time, and then decided to meet.
We met at a friends house, to watch movies.
He was all affectionate right off the bat, things got a tad heated quickly, and after that was all over with, he asked me if I wanted to take a walk to cool off.
During the walk he tells me, he isn't interested in a relationship.
I was like, umm... thanks for telling me after the whole hooking up thing.
Jerk.
However we did end up "dating" for about 5 months.
Pretty much we were just friend with benefits, until he met the girl of his dreams one day, and then I was chucked to the side, never to hear from him again.

Yeah, THE ONE just happens to be my best friend Dinky, who is probably a few years too young for Elly (not age wise, but behavior wise), and now dating someone....it's killing me, because they are totally "like-minded uber nerds" :)

They are all free to join, but they you have to buy a membership to actually recieve emails. Which is the frustrating thing.

i'm telling ya, it'll happen when you're not looking for it, when you least expect it. i met my hubs in a bar under some unusual circumstances (maybe someday i'll open up!) and well, he did say the same thing to me, "i kinda grow on people like mold"... and he did. even after i tried to use the 'ol "i can't see you anymore. it's not you, it's me." he wasn't having that tho.
anyway, not about me!

I have tried that about 4 times, and each time, they say there are no matches out there for me.
I am like so easy to please, that it's hard to believe there are no matches out there.
I think they just don't like fat people.

eharmony is very hard!!! i tried it once and didnt like it. plus it is super expensive compared to the other sites.
i recently tried yahoo becuase i have friends who have had success there. i liked it okay. i talked to a guy on there for about 6 weeks and when i suggested we meet up he fell off the planet!!! oh well.
i think it is better when you can search than when they send you matches!!!
