We were gone all day yesterday visiting. And stopped at my good friends and I had some Bailey's, yummy!
Anyways don't know if the Bailey's has anything to do with this, but last night I fell asleep on the couch, dh went to bed and I couldn't get up I was so tired.
So about 12 or 1am or something, not sure I woke up screaming! Like pretty loud and was thinking something terrible happened to me or that I was dying? Like I couldn't breath.
I went into the bedroom after I collected my thoughts and realized I was in my own apartment and that everything was okay.
It made me worry cuz I have never woke up screaming like that.
Has this ever happened to you?
Just a little sad today cuz I don't know what happened.
Night terror or not? :(

every now and again my mom starts screaming in her sleep and i have to waker her up, we're not really sure what they are. i don't know if the screaming makes it a night terror, or if it's a matter of how deeply you are asleep or something.

This is the first time it has happened to me, and it has shaken me up a little, i keep trying to figure out why it happened. I'm sitting here crying and I feel so stupid.
I was really in a deep sleep.

Oh yeah . . . I get those occasionally. Scares the crap out of my DH when I start screaming bloody murder in the middle of the night. LOL. I usually get them when I'm waaaaaay stressed out about something. Last time I had one I was dreaming that I was trapped under the ice in a frozen pond and couldn't breathe. It was awful. :(

Yeah, I get those often as well, but I have crazy weird dreams all the time. I scream, talk, chatter, sing and every thing else in my sleep, poor DH. Sometimes he has to sleep in the other room. I have nightmares alot. The doc said that it is common with people who have my type of blood problems. You might wanna check to see if you are anemic (iron deficient) or maybe if you have sleep apnea?

My dreams are always in full color and I can remember every little detail. It's wild.. sometimes I feel like I've never even been to sleep, but have been watching a movie all night.

I'm sorry that happened to you, hopefully it won't happen again :)

Thanks girl.
I dream alot too and I can remember them even. Weird huh...
I am on iron pills cuz I am low in iron but not by much. Maybe that's why. This is stupid cuz i feel really dumb of it happening, and trying to make sense of it.
Uggh, oh well hope this never happens again, sure the heck scared me!

I really cant recall waking up screaming or anything...but I have woke up scared and about falling off my bed...I bet it was maybe a combo of the alcohol and the tiredness that got you dreaming!

i bet you were dreaming about something. I wake up every now and then screaming...well it's more like that screaming when no sound comes out. Like when your trying to run and you can't run? Like your legs are like lead? Sometimes I try and scream so loud and no sound comes out. KWIM?
I don't think it's anything you really have to worry about...but if it happens more often then I might ask your Dr. or something if it really bothers you.
Sorry you were so scared by it. That is not fun!

Yea, hehe. It just startled me cuz it's never happened to me before. I can worry alot about things until I figure them out, a waste of time really.
Just don't remember dreaming, just waking up all of a sudden screaming.
Anyways thanks girl. :)

Sorry this is upsetting for you!!

Our DS has had that up until about this past year. The tough part for us was trying to get him to wake up. He would look at you with his eyes open and still not really see you, KWIM? We really had to limit the shows he watched on TV, and now finally, as he's getting older, he's able to handle a little more... (he's 5.5). He always explained it in the morning as really vivid nightmares... (LOL usually over things that we as adults thought were simple ~ poor guy!)

Thankfully he's grown out of it! Hope you feel better. :)

I'm sorry this happened to you, Kellie!!

That was my first thought...maybe you're stressed out about something?! My dreams are WAAAAAY weird when I'm stressed. And if I'm super stressed, I grind my teeth. (yuk!!)

Hope it doesn't happen again. I could see why it would be unnerving!

Hey thanks again girls.
Usually I don't drink much, cuz I'm on meds. But dh told me i was pretty out of it sleeping on the couch there, and then just waking up like that, scared me or something.
Anyways it sure better not happen again. Or yep I will talk to my dr.

Had a good day of just relazing here, listening to music, a short nap, watching tv. :)
