Still not sure if I am seeing this movie.......yet.

we drove to milwaukee (about an hour and a half drive) to see it in a special premiere.
it's definitely more of an operetta than a traditional musical because there isn't a whole lot of dialogue at all.
helena bonham carter and johnny depp were apparently both really nervous about singing - JD was AMAZING and HBC definitely held her own. alan rickman isn't the best singer, but he still did well.
the voices of the rest of the peeps were just incredible. JD's daughter in the movie has a voice like an angel.
it's pretty gorey, especially towards the end.
very tragic and sad, for a serial killer. hehe.
someone i know called it fluffy. i would NEVER call it fluffy. it was definitely funny but not fluffy by any means.

i think heather might PIMP if she doesn't get to a movie theater STAT. :D
maybe it's because i was a musical theatre geek in high school or maybe because it's so well executed or maybe it's 'cause johnny depp makes me drool even in my sleep, but i am OBSESSED with it.
hmmm. it's showing at 11:45am and 12:05pm... maybe i'll go see it today again! :D
get the CD. amazing. incredible.

Ooooh I hafta say..
I was really impressed by HBC.
She has some pipes.
Was she preggers in that role as well ?
Paige has really been itching to see this.. so i am glad we went first because it is NOT something we will be letting her see.. well not for awhile anyway..
even though I am all about the Broadway & the musicals for her..
I definitely think TB but some gasp effect into full force with this one.

yus. she was on and off and her breasts underwent some size changes during the film. :D

On a gigglier note..
Paige kept telling my lil SiS that she looked like Edward Scissorhands on Xmas...lol..
I think she is right up there with her honorary Aunt Elly in her JD adoration.

I was a forensics nerd in high school and did a dramatic dialog from Sweeney Todd so I think it will really cool to see it on the big screen.

oh man. i loved I Am Legend. but maybe it was cause i was with my boyfriend, i gotta almost jump in his lap on a few parts haha.
But man...Sweeny Todd!!! I was watching PotC 3 on christmas eve....*drool!*!! I love the song in trailers, "You Sir," blah "want a shave" man. wait, no i saw a special on Sweeny!! either way, i wanted to jump in the TV!! I just is sad cause in TN you have to be 18 to buy a rated R movie :[[ so my boyfriend is still 17. I told him that we will just have to go to one of the side theatres who don't really card :]]
i love johnny. ha
OH, i did see Enchanted! I saw Dr McDreamy in a WHOLE new light!!
