i hate business plans. they go completely over my head. like so far over my head that they are like clouds in the sky.
can anyone help me write one? free stamps!

I have a degree in professional writing...unfortunately I don't know what a business plan is:(

I am with Kelli, not sure what you want to say, or how you want to say it, but I write plans business plans, budgets, marketing plans, etc. for my job, and would be happy to assist you with anything. :)

i don't need anything incredibly specific - it's for my grandfather to show that i am serious about this bidness and he can feel good about giving me monies for it. :D
i don't have too many expenses - basically stamp fees, things for kits and shipping costs.
do you have a generic-y thing i can plug stuff into? if'n you know what i mean?

When I've written business plans, the best advice anyone ever gave me was: "Know who you're writing for." If you're writing for your Grandfather so that he knows that you're serious, you probably want to sketch out a budget, a brief marketing plan and give him some context about the industry -- what other people are doing and how much they're spending/making. For someone who doesn't know the crafty world, it's those comparisons that are going to show that you've done your homework and will be competitive and different from the other businesses out there.
