LOL Deanna!! There are no pics but I just wanted to make sure I warned away the squeamish....so use your imagination! Probably IS your biggest sewing fear!! It actually is not hurting hardly at all...just when something hits the top of my nail!

Yeah, I'm with Sonja. Now I'm skeeeeerrred! And I'm clumsy on a good day. (somehow, I'd sew my ear or toe or something. that's just how I am!)

Just so you don't feel bad, that happened to me once, luckily I had long nails the time and it just went through the nail. Glad your's isn't hurting too bad!!!

Well I must admit...for about an hour...I did not even approach my machine...but it's kinda like riding a horse....falling off, you gotta jumpr right back in that saddle and I did.
But I havea NEW APPRECIATION for the fingers....they stay outta the way!

um all i can say is OUCH!!!!!!!! knockin on wood i never do this but my granny has and she said it hurt like all get out... man hope you don't have to big a bruised swollen finger girly glad your back on your sewing though not skidish ug though i do hate tetnis they hurt worse thatn the finger thing so take a nice round of ibuprofin 20 or so min befor you get that shot it will hurt

Wow ! This is exactly what I imagine every time I'm sewing and I've always comforted myself saying it CAN'T happen.
Don't think I'll touch the machine again....
Do you realize it makes you some kind of Frida Kahlo ? Lol !
