What do you put on your lefse when you eat it? I've tried it with butter and sugar, butter and brown sugar, and with lingonberries, almonds, and whipped cream. We just made a bunch yesterday. Anything you think I should try? Thanks!

what is that? I'm thinking I'm not a lefse eater...since I don't know what it is. but, who knows?!? ;-)
would love to be enlightened, though!

Googled these:
What is lefse? -->A Norwegian food; a flat, thin potato pancake, often eaten with sugar and butter, often consumed in the basements of Lutheran churches at their large church dinners.
Norwegian Lefse Breakfast: eggs, ham, cheese all rolled up in a monster piece of lefse and topped with salsa and onions. Sweet Scandinavian Lefse: a monster fresh lefse and packed with grilled cinnamon sugar apples, bananas, lingonberries and lingonberry cream cheese and topped off with strawberries, powdered sugar and whipped cream. It's hummin' good!
Now I wanna try some too!

Thanks, Lydiajane. Didn't think of that!
And, thanks, karinson, for bringing these to my attention. I love trying new things.

I'm only eaten mine plain! My grandma made them all the time and I would just eat them with some salt! Course I eat my potatoes that way all the time, just a little salt...I know, boring! LOL

When my dad makes it, I love to put butter, cinnamon and sugar on it. YUM!!! I never thought of putting preserves on it.
