oh my gosh Stace, jury duty. I've never had to go. Does it suck
as bad as it sounds :( SORRY!!!
a couple more holiday gifts.
start my gift to "the Parents" [yes, I have started]
get all sample pictures and instructions loaded for this little project
I am so excited about
take car in for oil change
go to post office and send west coast presents...
hope they make it in time!!!
call irrigation guys to close it down
i know there is MORE but I am getting all sweaty just thinking about it all LOL

the kids are home today from school...VERY icy roads...
but i'm hoping in @ an hour we can all head out to target to get some provisions & some gifts....
& then i'm hoping to stop by the craft store to get some provisions :)
& i've gotta make this place christmas card production line central b/c i haven't started yet...& there is only 8 days until christmas!!! i'm always so late w/ these...lol
have fun at jury duty! i never mind it...good opportunity to sit & read :)

I have a chore list a mile and a half long. The crunch is on and I have several packages to mail out tomorrow...and they need things to be made, baked etc.
I cannot wait until Wednesday so I can kick back. I have a love/hate relationship with this time of year.
But I'm glad I don't have JURY DUTY! Yuck! You need a couple young kids Stacey...that's the ticket out!!!!

I will not get on my soap box about jury duty here.....I will not. I will not.
but.....our system may have it's faults, but it's much better than some other countries. If we didn't have juries....what would be the determining factor?
okay.....i'm climbing off my soap box.
and my agenda for today....the list is kinda long and I'm still in my pj's. (it's 10 am here.) So, I guess I'd better get to it.

I've never been called for jury duty. Hope it goes quickly!
Today I've GOT to get packages mailed. But first, the presents need to be wrapped.
Pick up some cardstock for Xmas cards.
Clean up my office!! It's a catch all for all the household crap. I have about 6 square inches of clear desk space.

Ohhhh....sorry to hear that about mailing packages, weebbt. I hope it goes smoothly. I just heard this morning on the news that this is the busiest "package mailing" day of the season. They were expecting GInormous lines. :-(

Already took one kid to school--have two more to go at noon, in between just the same ol' same ol--dishes, floors, LAUNDRY, see how much of me credit card bill I can pay off (ack!!!) maybe go to the gym so I can take a LOOOOOONG shower--and I am with Kitleen on the jury duty thing--I have picked juries, been a witness, but never been on a jury (due to the nursing/childcare thing)--would love to serve on a jury!

Sorry about the jury duty thing Stacey, I've always lucked out and not had to show up...my husband almost had to serve on a HORRIBLE murder trial, but they decided he wasn't upstanding enough to serve:)
I just got back from pre school duty and waiting to put the little loves down for a nap and then since (for once in a long time) I don't feel nauseous, I'm going to wrap some presents and make gift tags:) I also need to start dinner in the crock pot.
I hope everyone has a fantastic day:)

okay....one of the things on my "to do list" is to exercise. (it's there every day....some days it just gets crossed off and not done!!)
So.....I have NOT exercised yet. And my girlfriend just dropped off a big ol' box of homemade cookies....a gazillion different kinds. UGH!!!
Those two things do NOT go together. Better go actually get my situps in before the box is empty!

I don't know, Kitleen, but I think you could get in some great bicep curls with those cookie weights!! Chewing is great for the jaw line....

I will definitely keep this in mind.
One bathroom cleaned....cookie on the way through the kitchen to the other bathroom.
should I put them next to me while doing situps?? One....cookie....two....cookie.....three.....cooki e. I'll have a six-pack in no time!! ;-)

i don't mind jury duty except it's a bad time of year to miss work, when you work for tips ;) kwim
but i only had to be there a couple hours and they didn't want me anyway b/c it was a personal injury trial and i told them what i thought about "pain and suffering" compensation for a pre-existing condition.
evidently in the state of ky if you have an accident you can sue for p & s even if you were already hurt before the accident! made no sense to me.
and the prosecutor called his client by the defendants name!! (ambulance chaser!)
anyway, so then i did some errands and had lunch w/ the hubs and now i must nap.

Happy Monday!!
Today I ran the LAST of my holiday shopping errands!! Yay!!
I spent some time after lunch wrapping some gifts, finished the laundry and now I'm surfing SIS!
Gonna make some gift tags tonight after I take dd to a birthday party!!

*bought glue to put together some presents
*bought nuts to make some other christmas presents
*mailed christmas cards (dont feel bad gigi!)
*made dinner
*made 30 reindeer for my ds christmas party later this week
*gave dd a nap
*and here in an hour gonna go to work :)
* oh and did laundry and dishes too !
i still have presents to buy....well gift cards anyway grrr! every year i promise my self im going to be more organized and it just NEVER happens!

Stacey I am jealous...I LOVE Jury Duty!! But then again...I don't get out much! (ya know...without the kiddos)! Also I was a paralegal before I was a stay at home mommy so...ya know.
Now seriously, I'm not trying to rub it in or anything, but I am having like the best day in a very long time! First I got a super duper happy mail from one of my best friends. She sent me a really cool bag from the container store that I've been coveting! I also got my Christmas ATC's from Stacy!!! Soooo Fab!!! Then I got a Daily Card made for me...thank you Tracy! Love it!!! Then my DH helped me do major catch up Christmas shopping. Then I got a super nice message from JJ about that other daily card I was freaking out about. She made me feel much better. And now I don't have to cook dinner because I have leftovers from last night! Yay may even get to scrap an actual lo tonight!!
Not trying to be negative but now I'm afraid that tomorrow will seem like crap after today...lol!

Good for you...you gotta live for those great days! You should make a list of your great day for your daily card...or another LO so you can remember it when you have a not so great day!!

Nothing, much went to work, just had 2 clients so a short day. DD lost my debit card so been looking for it:( Did a little bit of Christmas shoppping and maybe some scrapping later and cleaning house, DS wanted to bake brownies:) and Thank You Miss Fike for my Happy Mail girl:)
