giuseppina Style Maven (716)	# Posted: 8 Dec 2007 12:37 - Edited by: giuseppina ok so a friend of mine knew some info that she didn't share with me because she knew i would be upset. i found out anyways. and i was SUPER upset! and when i asked her about it she said "well i didn't know how to tell you! i just thought you wouldn't find out." now what? eta: yea i guess i was pretty cryptic. i'll make it simple. apparently my ex bf (we did not have a good break up at all) is now working at my district office. are you kidding?! is there NO WHERE else he can find a job? he has to follow me around? which totally creeps me out because i don't want him to have access to my files whatsoever. so the friend knew this and didn't tell me. that's why i'm upset with her. :(

That's what friends do too, but friends should also be able to be honest with each other. I can't judge ofcourse, I shouldn't judge as I don't know the whole story. Try to look at it from her point of few as well, maybe that will help you decide what to do, or ask her why she was afraid to tell you or something? gentoo Fashion Plate (288)	# Posted: 8 Dec 2007 17:42 I think it is possible that you are more really upset about the sucky situation rather than really upset with your friend for not telling you about it. You could tell her that you are a little bummed that she was afraid to warn you and then talk to her about the situation. It can be really hard to tell someone something when you know it will upset them, at least she knows you that well, right?

But I do agree that it's more the situation than your friend you are mad at. (I think, lol) She thought she was keeping it from you for a good reason, obviously that didn't work so well, but if she's a good friend, she will understand why you are upset about this. I say talk to her. deanna
