I'm having the same problem! I feel your pain. I've discovered that when I eat a bunch of smaller meals I don't get as nauseous, and I've also taken to hard candy. Several people have told me to try ginger tea and/or ginger altoids but I don't like ginger.

Hard candy? That is a good idea. I tried the smaller meals, but ANYTHING I put on my stomach is not staying down. This is crazy! I did not do this with my daughter. I am so happy being pregnant, but I found myself bawling my eyes out last night after getting sick. I did try the ginger tea and that helped a little, but not much.

I have heard...never tried because I didn't have MS...but if you eat protein before you go to bed...like cheese or peanut butter that it's supposed to help you not feel so sick in the morning. But if you are sick at night too...I don't know if it will work.

Good luck!

I didn't get sick with my first two either, not once. So this is really weird. I just kinda graze all day long you know a carrot here, an apple there. Trying to keep it healthy. Oh, and soup, lots of broth based soups.

My sis n' law had morning sickness horribly, to the point of being put in the hospital.

She found that if she at crackers, plain saltines, right after she woke up in the morning, it helped her out a lot.

I've had that problem for almost 4 month's with my son! Horrible. I've had some relief eating popsicles. (and it's a treat like icecream but with less calories ;)). And it helped also to eat a dry biscuit before getting out of bed
I hope that this will help! Enjoy your pregnancy!!

I had some nausea but never sick sick, you poor thing! I kept saltines by my bed for first thing in the morning, chamomile tea helped me too. Oh, and never ever take the prenatal vite on an empty stomach! I would take mine in the middle of dinner. The problem for me was the worst heartburn - used to drink mylanta right from the bottle, and had to sleep sitting up sometimes. But I loved being pregnant, every second of it!

& watermelon...

something @ dehydration for me & those were the only 2 things that worked...

You could check with your MD on this, but when I was pregnant with my second, I had such bad morning sickness that they were ready to put me in the hospital. My OB had me try Unisom once a day. It is an over the counter sleeping pill, but i guess it has properties of an older morning sickness medication. I had to take it for almost my whole pregnancy-it was the only way I could keep anything down.
I'm so sorry for you-it's been not quite 21 years and I still remember how awful I felt. and my son was only 15 months old when I was first pg. But she was worth it of course!!

Oh, I feel SO bad for you guys. I was never even all that sick, (I only threw up once in four pregnancies), but I remember how horrible I always felt. I pretty much stopped taking prenatal vitamins all together with my third. My OB said it was OK, the baby would get what he needed.

Also, I wore those wristbands for motion sickness and they helped for a while. I don't know why they worked, but the doc said to try them so I did. It was some relief. Hopefully, this will subside by your 14th week or so. Blech...

i know that there's a pressure point on the inside of the wrist.
It is helpful in motion sickness, to press on this, with the thumb of the other hand. The spot is two finger widths - up from the crease on the inside the wrist....
must say I went with a blend of the advice give above, moved all strong fragranges & flavours out the way (far) & nibbled brioche (sweet) bread until it left, 3 months later....

the payback is worth it a trillion times over!

Oh! Isn't it amazing how different each pregnancy is? I wasn't sick with my first, third and fourth, but my second was awful! I puked daily for 4 months straight. If I even thought about poultry I would puke. What helped me was to eat very small amounts all day. Good luck!
