"When I used to play in the bush"

She grew up in Southern Africa, but still I have a dirty mind and the comment just makes it go in all kinds of directions.

That is hysterical!
I know that I COULD not keep a straight face!

LOL

truly...have you told her how that sounds.

Ok, how would you tell your boss about something like that?

Dear Boss,

To some people the bush is not a place in Africa, nor is it a president. Just thought you should know.

EXACTLY. PERFECT!!

Uh, but do you think she'd get it, though? 'Cause if you have to spell it out, that could be most embarrassing. Would you use gestures? Point in the general vicinity? Draw a picture? Have her Google it????

I sit by an old lady at work that has MEGA gas issues

Yikes -- the phrase "MEGA gas issues" makes me howl!!!

My hubby's granny had MEGA gas issues...as in tooting the WHOLE way up the stairs without stopping. And she didn't even know it.

Does your coworker know she's gassy?

Yeah draw a picture, just put an arrow down with a big bunch of squiggly lines at the bottom of the arrow. She'll figure it out! Tell her you are playing Pictonary. LOL!

oh my.
yeah, I'd just have to tell her.
I'd wait til she said it again and say...
"um, I know this might be inappropriate to tell you, but do you realize what 'bush' stands for around here? yeah. that. "

I couldn't stop laughing when i read this. for real. lol

nope, pretty sure I would have some great comment and story to go along with it and then I would realize I just outed myself to someone who wasn't "coming out" to me! OMG..I would have to quit my job then and there...hopefully prior to the sexual harrassment suit that would follow me out the door!!! You guys are killing me today!!! I love Fridays!!! Especially when they are like this!! :)

"When I used to play in the bush"
Nothing to add, just lmao.

My hubby's granny had MEGA gas issues...as in tooting the WHOLE way up the stairs without stopping. And she didn't even know it.
My hub's grandma does the same thing. She can't hear and apparently can't feel the tootage. We all just pretend we don't notice. And yeah, like one per step, it's quite musical!

OMG! This is too much! I seriously laughed HARD! I don't need to do my push ups tonight (yeah who am I kidding, like I EVER do them) my stomach is sore.

What is it about old ladies and the tootage??? My grandma is the same way. I forgot to warn my husband about it the first time he met her. She let one rip and I could see it in his face. He was trying so hard not to bust a gut, but he couldn't hold it back. He left the room and left me in there trying to not laugh at him laughing at her!

Yes ladies, that is what we will be doing in our old age. Sitting around scrapping and tooting away!

Here in AK some pilots are called "bush pilots" 'cause they import/export people/things out in the bush. It's pretty common to here someone say, "have you been out in bush." he .. he..

And here I am busting a gut again.
