me 'n' chuck had an awesome time last night, hanging out.
but he's still "kinda seeing someone" and apparently i'm not in the picture, in that he wouldn't say to the other person that he's "kinda seeing" me. he says that making out is cool, but then he didn't want to make out, wanted instead to snuggle.
so yeah.
disappointed. who knows, though, the tide may turn and he might end up kinda seeing me. or something.

Ok, I'm going to say this as nice as I can:
Run and run quickly! He's so stringing you along, sounds like he wants the best of both worlds. It's either you or the other person, there's no "kinda seeing someone", to me that's just an excuse. Don't let him play games with you, you don't deserve it!
And that is my Dr. Phil moment for the day. :)

That stinks! Man don't you hate that! Hopefully everything works out to where he's "kinda" seeing you more than the other lady! Good LUCK!

But, don't you think if he "felt" it....just knew you were the one, that he'd toss the other one aside!! Don't you want that for yourself??
And there's the possibility that if you do 'run and run quickly', he'll realize that he misses you.
I don't know. I never liked the dating world and feel for ya.
But, honey, don't stand for no nonsense. If you're not liking it...GET OUT. You deserve a guy who will treat you like a queen!

Yeah, I wish i could help you out there, ipmkate....
But, they DO exist.
If I could reach out and get "the perfect guy" for each of you, I would. I want everyone to feel that happiness in love.

he's a guy - my guess is nothing.
for the time being i'll just hang and see movies - it's a good way to get the hell out of the house and laugh a lot. :)
But, don't you think if he "felt" it....just knew you were the one, that he'd toss the other one aside!! Don't you want that for yourself??
yeah, i'm trying to ignore that part. he does have a REALLY hard time letting go and never wants to hurt people so. if he did it might take a bit of time, too.
OI.

but, you did give me a giggle anyway!
Elly....do what you think works for you. You're right, having someone to do things w/ isn't a bad thing, even if it doesn't turn into the forever thing. (ya never know!) Meanwhile you're having a nice time.

I agree w/ Sara, but I have been off the dating scene for 10+ years. What do I know?!?
And getting out of the house is a helpful way to meet anyone.....(there, kate, does that help?? don't bring hubby, though! lol!)
So, maybe while you're out w/ chuck, elly, you'll look across the room and meet some guy's eyes and BAM......the rest is history! Again, one never knows.

elly, all I can say, (since I am certainly in no position to dole out advice right now) is if you like him, that is great, but he might be the kind of guy that feels funny about dating 2 girls, even if he really wants to. They are rare, but maybe that is his deal.
If he wants to spend time with you and vice versa, then go for it. The worst that could happen is that you become wonderful friends and nothing more. and I am all about having great friends.
I hope you find someone who loves you to the fullest! deanna

IF I were dating again, which, no matter WHAT, would NEVER happen again, I would have to ask myself WHY I was dating. Would it be to find a mate or would it be just to have some fun? I think having the answer to that question would put into perspective whatever situation I was in.
Yeah, if something ever happened to my dh, I wouldn't marry for love or for money. I would just get me a slave boy. A cute one, okay - but just a slave boy... ;)

Okay, I so agree with pascrapgal's perspective of dating.
When I was fresh out of high school I was dating two guys at once. Only for a couple of weeks, but I figured I was young so why not? I definitely didn't want to hurt either of them because I genuinely liked both guys. After a few weeks though, it became astoundingly clear that I felt so much more for one of the guys, so I broke it off with the other one. And now we've been together for 3 and a half years, and are getting married next year. And I've never lied to my fiance. Even though I'm sure he would have preferred that I had not been seeing someone else at the time, he understands and it has never hindered our relationship whatsoever.
So things may work out. Just don't put your heart out there until he is ready to commit.

I am going to echo Jan here - figure out why you are dating.
So once you know that - you can look at the situation and decide.
Sorry it has been frustrating. Big cyber hugs your way.

lol, Jan! A HOT one. But I don't think I'd ever date again.
I'm told the dating scene is so much different these days....with IM and caller ID, Text Messaging, etc. Everyone is always available. BLAH!

adfsl;kdjg;alksjdfasdf.
i feel like i'm eager to start the rest of my life. i think that means i'm looking both for fun and a long-term relationship.
this is just such a downer - i'm finally feeling so much better about life and then BAM. another thing to fight against, these feelings of inadequacy. it shouldn't have happened this way, you know?
nothing is EVER EASY.
