I was walking around my house picking up after my family and started to prepare dinner all while wishing I could be scrapping.

I began to wonder what it would be like to take an extended vacation to Scrapworld from time to time. I decided that if such a place existed that things like time, chores and budgets would not exist in my world. Things that would exist would be all of the wonderful SISters here and the worlds largest scrapbook store anyone has every seen! Anything your mind could dream up could be found there. What a world that would be!!!!

If you could go there, what would be included (or not included for that matter)?

Let's hear what you've got!

and plenty of chocolate and wine.
mmmmm, wine.

no whining, no stress, no worries.

I am checking in as soon as possible, and I know that you could use an escape. We can meet up for a cocktail, go shopping for free stuff then scrap the night away. All the while listening to the surf pounding gently against the sand.

This just keep getting better and better.

I agree with everything stated so far. Bring on the chocolate. My momma works at a winery locally, so I can bring all the wine! lol

If things were free, and supplies never ending, the world would be perfect in scrapland!!

We would need one BIG table, with lots of fellow SISters to join us!!

Can I get a ticket??

Can I get a ticket??

I just "check in" every chance I get!

That would be one heck of a table. It would need to seat at least 7,000 to accommodate all of the SISters.

Ya know how at Disney World you have "It's a Small World"

Well, I'm picturing a little boat ride where you get in and it takes you through an adventure where all sorts of pretty patterned paper patterns, huge prima flowers, and all sorts of bling dance around on the shores.
There will be little people (possibly gnomes for our friend Elly) and they will be putting together pretty packages as they sing "It's A Scrap World After All........".
At the end of the ride you each get a package and get to go on to a huge crop room atop a mountain surrounded by wild flowers and butterflies.. There you will find top chefs from all over the world (must have Paula Dean and Rachael Ray cause they are just way too much fun).
They will serve you all sorts of chocolates, cakes, cappuchinos, martinis, and what ever else your heart desires - Note - There are NO CALORIES...
Like Disney, there will be no garbage. All the scraps that you may drop on the floor will quickly be swept up by little squirrels and they will carry them off to make gorgeous little embelishments out of them.

Ofcourse this is just a rought draft - The plans for It's a Scrap World are only in the planning stages....... We just need a mere $100,000,000,000 to get started.
If anyone has $100,000,000,000 to invest, please let me know.........

There are NO CALORIES...

Wow, that one IS ever so important. I love the idea of the boat ride and the singing gnomes. I adore Wizard of Oz, so would it be possible to incorporate some munchins in there too? Hey while we are at it, why not some Oompa Loompas? And that river could be a river of chocolate! Ugh. I am dying here.

You know that people who are as creative as the ones who are at this site have the potential to create a virtual Utopia.

We should probably try to come up with a better name though.

I so love this!! I can just picture sitting there scrapping, as the SINGING squirrels come by and sweep up all the stuff on the floor. Then later return with a huge tray of awesome embellishments for us to use!!

I agree with the munchkins too. Although the Oompa Loompas kind of scare me. :/ Now... the chocolate river, that we can include for sure!!

I think we need a to include some scrappin' celebs too, to teach us their style and some new techniques. We could have classrooms, in different rooms, with Ali E., Jessica Sprague, Kristina Contes, Kellie Crowe, Heidi Swapp, Michelle Hill, and all of our fabulous fashinistas!!!

Here, here! I'll cheers to that!

So far we've narrowed it down to free supplies (unlimited), calorie free food, singing squirrels that happily clean up our messes and who can forget the beverages? Education and inspiration abound in our new world. Now if we could only come up with an investor with that $1000,000,000,000 we'd be all set! Anyone, anyone???

That is probably from trying to create this world on your own! LOL. Don't ya know that it takes a village?! ;0) None of us can create this wonderful place on our own, but togehter.......

Those scrap supplies don't come cheap, and the chocolate doesn't come cheap. Just be thankful for your Momma and her contribution to your happy little world! LOL

HAHA!!! Hey he made a reality TV show about Pageant Place. I am sure he would be in on this idea. I mean come on.

The talent here? Plus, we could make it into a reality TV show, which I am sure would get WAY more attention that Pageant Place. I saw a study done, that says 1 in 4 housewives/women (I can't remember the exact wording) are a scrapbooker. Which means we have like a huge audience out there!!

Hey while we are at it, why not some Oompa Loompas? And that river could be a river of chocolate!

Ok so I really think we need the big room where the chocolate river was where everything was edible, the grass the big lollipop trees, the daffodil tea with cup you could eat. Oh and lick able wallpaper "the snozzberries taste like snozzberries"

oops sorry - tangent been dreaming of that ever since I was 6 and saw the movie for the first time.

Ok back to our Scrap World - do you remember that amazing scrap store in Houston or somewhere in Texas. Yeah I want that - need to go find link now.

Yeah, I remember reading that. It was one in four households contains a scrapbooker. That's a ton of people to watch that reality show! Think of what they could make on the ad revenue. Especially when you consider that they're most likely to be the wife/mother and that the largest economic demographic is the suburban mom.

I was trying to get my parents to open a scrapbook store (since Recollections is closing & they're always whining about needing a "tax shelter" ~ man I wish I had their problems!) but maybe I can convince them to invest in Scrapbook World instead!

Especially if it looks like the "By Design Scrapbook Boutique" which was totally going to be the style/direction/inspiration I was going to push for my parents' scrapbook store.

Start working on your parents now! After all of the success of Scrapworld they might need to seek ANOTHER tax shelter. By then will have probably dreamed something else up!

wil it magically get rid of my muffin top and big ol booty as well?

Of course. You want it, it's done!
