hi sisters,
please pray for my brother, Craig, his wife, Ann and my nephew, Jon, and niece, Cait...they live in Escondido and had to leave their home under mandatory evacuation this afternoon.
very scary to be so far away from them and phone communication has been sketchy with the cell phones.
they packed up their favorite personal belongings, photos and some other items and are staying at a church for the next two nights. please pray their home is untouched as this would be devastating.
so tragic...so many families, so much loss.
thank you. melissa

thank you, girls. i talked to my brother and sister-in-law this morning and they stayed last night at a church with over 100 other people who had to leave their homes. my brother said that it is sunshine on 3 sides and then black as night the side the fire is on. they did drive to their house today and everything was fine...no fire damage. i'm not sure if they're staying a second night at the shelter or heading back home as the areas are about the same danger level.
thank you for your continued prayers.

hi everyone...
your comments are appreciated and your thoughts and prayers mean so much to me and my family.
i spoke with my brother yesterday and they were staying back at their own home tonight. i don't think the situation is any better, but no worse either. my nephew works at the wild animal park and he was there cleaning up the devastation...said the ash looked like falling snow. continue to pray until the situation resolves.
thank you so much!
hugs, melissa
