annkelli Big SIS (4567)	# Posted: 18 Sep 2007 18:54 Baby Emily Kate is still holding strong in the NICU and still needs so many prayers. I don't have a current weight on her but she weighed 1lb 1oz at birth one week ago. Jennifer her mom went home from the hospital last night. She will be on BP meds for a while and can see Emily as often as she can. Thank you for all of your prayers.

annkelli Big SIS (4567)	# Posted: 25 Sep 2007 22:00 i heard tonight that baby Emily Kate now weighs 1lb 9 oz! she had a second blood transfusion today and it went well. (from what i understand, the transfusions are normal in preemies until they can produce blood on their own) she is also still breathing on her own - no respirator or oxygen! thank you again for your prayers! please continue to pray for this sweet baby and her parents, Jennifer and David
