I have a friend who is 28/30 wks along and was hospitalized Sun. for contracting. Just this morning we just found out that they have to take the baby by C-section b/c they could not stop the contracting and there are further complications. She has already had 4 or 5 miscarriages. This family has perservered so diligently thru all of this. PLease pray that everything will work out and be OK. While he would be viable at this age, he will still be so small and fragile. Please lift them up!!!

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR PRAYERS!!!
Mommy and baby are doing well at this point. He came out 2 lbs. 10 oz. This next week is absolutely critical for his lung development. When they get beyond this week, the little guy is looking at a 12 week stay in the NICU until he is @ full term gestation, and will probably go home on monitors. Sisters, God is so Good!!! We firmly believe that he is a miracle baby. I appreciate your prayers so much on this!!!
Be praying that God will strengthen his little lungs and that no other complications arise!!
HUGS to you all for praying about this for this precious family!!

and just to share, I personally know 3 people who were born about this small and have grown into either super healthy, smart kids (so far) or healthy, wonderful adults.

Mommy is home now, but that kind makes things stink with NICU...parents have to call first and then they are allowed in if all of the kiddos in there are doing OK.At least momma was at the hospital before.
they are trying to wean him off of the vent, 1st time unsuccessful, but like i said his lungs are crucial right now. keep praying for lil BMW and his mommy and daddy!

Such great news know they are doing well, I will keep praying for her. It is still such a long road but such a blessing to have baby safely here. My son was born at 27 weeks and only 2 pds. He will soon be turning 12 and is a healthy, sweet spirit. Thanks for keeping us updated~
