Hello sweet SISters and Misters :)
I have a prayer request.
Can you please pray for my son, Nicholas.
he starts 3rd grade tmrw morning and he is
nervous beyond nervous.
I know he would feel your prayers.
I pray that he finds comfort and peace tmrw
at school and that he feels confident.
He has some anxiety problems [gets really nervous
about anything new/changes] so if you could pray
for peace and comfort. i would be so grateful.

my son starts third grade too! And DD starts Kindergarten. She is far more apprehensive.

Awww, praying for your son Court. My little sister was exactly the same every new school year...used to make herself ill with nerves. Am praying that he will feel God with him as he goes to school.

Hugs to you, Momma Court, this can be just as stressful for us, right? I'll be praying for him as he starts school that he will feel confidence and peace as he walks in those doors.

Yes, I will pray for him and I hope that all teachers will know how nervous these children are!
I remember a few years ago in my subdivision seeing a mom taking pictures of her twins on their first day of kindergarten, how excited, and I hoped that teachers would realize how it is so special!

Sure will! Poor little guy. I had bad anxiety issues in schoo too. Boy, they start early!

I will think of both of you tomorrow. Put a "kiss" in his pocket to remind him how much you love him! Maybe a little red felt heart??? He can put his hand in his pocket and feel it to remember that you are there even when you are not. Maybe a car shape would be "cooler" LOL!

Absolutely!!! Sending a prayer up for Nicholas, that God will walk with him and give him comfort in his new environment and give him the courage and the confidence to have a great time, make lots of new friends and just be the awesome kid he is!!

There is no doubt he felt your prayers!!!
He teared up a little this morning and had his
nervous belly all morning but he really did good.
Nick [dh] just called and he dropped nicky off.
HE DID AWESOME. not one tear. just a little nervous.
compared to last year this is AMAZING. he would sob all
the way to school then get of the car sobbing, for months.
It was heart breaking. I feel such a sense of peace right now!
THANK YOU for your thoughts and prayers....
now we need them for Marlyce and kindergarten LOL

Courtney! I am so glad for this!!!! Yay! I am a little nervous about when my dd will start school for the first timee, but then she is only 2 and I have a while!

i will pray for your kinder and keep your son in our prayers, too.
my oldest starts kinder in 2 weeks. i know i will need some prayers then also:)
