Hi,
I am doing Christine's online tutorial for the clear album. This morning I checked her blog and learned that her husband is very ill from chemo. She is just so unselfish to be taking all this time for the tutorial when she is going through so much.

Yes, Susan, I'm doing the tutorial too (which is FANtastic, btw) and saw that on her blog yesterday. She's so brave and honest. How thoughtful of you to bring that request here. I didn't think of that....I'm sure she would appreciate the prayer support.

last year I took part to such an event for someone who was in such a situation, and people organized & gathered gifts (mini, tags, cards etc, whateva) for supporting the people in question & bringin' them light from every part from ze world.
what do you think???

I just saw this post after Susan emailed me this mornen' and I'm so grateful for all the support you guys. It's been a tough run for me these last 9 months. My husband was diagnosed with brain cancer (the worst form of brain cancer called a glioblastoma) last September. He had a seizure while in Canada on a business trip. We were told it was in infection, but after meeting with a brain tumor specialist/neurosurgeon at the University of Minnesota, my husband was given the grim diagnosis of an aggressive form of brain cancer. He's been told he has two to five years..he endured a major craniotomy with the removal of his entire right temporal lobe (location of the two tumors). Since then, we've gone through two chemos and a major round of radiation. His scans remain clear, but in reality, it's just a matter of time (reoccurance is likely in the first year or two). This has been the most stressful and precious time of my life. Along the way, I've been raising my baby son (I found out my husband had cancer while in my third trimester of pregnancy) whom I'm totally in luv with and feel oh so lucky to have. I don't know what I would do without the guy. He helps me endure everyday..along with my wonderful husband.
I want all of you to know that I did the tutorial and the blog because all of you have been so supportive and wonderful to me. It has been a place where I have been able to connect with people in way that's personal and brings peace to my life. It's my little outlet to world...a place I call my second home. Thank you so much for continuing to visit my blog and following the tutorial. Each and every visitor makes a big difference in my life..not matter how small it may seem, it helps me carry on and stay strong. Thank you.

Susan, I saw the other thread and I think this is wonderful of you to oint this out to all of us. It is important that if we are all going to be friends, that we pray for each other as well when needs arise.
