Thank you so much for this thread! Seriously, you all can imagine how easy it is for me to let the many blessings in my life go unappreciated. The Lord has been SO faithful and good (as He always is) to me, and yet I so often forget to give Him praise for the little things. I shudder to think what my life would be if I didn't have His grace in my life.
It's also so amazing to see how many SISters in Christ are here. :) That warms my heart more than you will ever know.

This thread could not have been posted at a better moment.
Just a half hour ago my dh was in the bath and so I went in to say hi to him as I just came home from the grocery store. He looked so tired and stressed out- because of his car problems and how we iwl have the money to take car of it.
I just looked at him and said God wants you to relax and take this time off work to enjoy yourself and to relax. He's on vacation and not enjoying it much at all.
We all get so consumed in the financial problems, the car problems, the busy schedules we all have and forget to take a breath and just give thanks to our Lord for all of the beautiful things we have in our lives that we tend to overlook or have forgotten to give thanks for. He alwys provides so we should not worry so much :)
So thank you for reminding and for your prayer.

I want to add my sincerest appreciation for every little blessing in my life. From the joy I am given daily, from having HIM in my life, to being able to live and breathe and watch my child grow, laugh, love and learn.
I am humbled by His Love. It has served as a constant source of light, life and guidance, and I am so grateful that I am able to feel and be comforted by His presence. I want this for all the world, but I am willing and accepting of all those who do not understand are often indimidated by it.
I remember my life, in dark days, when I question Him and His affect on my life. I felt alone, abandoned and utterly desolate. But I learned that this was because my eyes were closed to His works and my heart was closed to His Love. I am so thankful that I am no longer that shell of a girl and that God has filled my life with radiance.
So thank you for reminding me that I have a lot to be gracious for and allowing me to express my adoration for the Lord.

Wow, SISters I am amazed at how many of you responded to this thread. When I posted it , I thought mine would be the only post, lol.
But almost a week has passed and it would seem a PRAISE movement has started.
I am being prompted in my spirit to throw a shout out to all of you. As I posted originally I love my XM radio. And one of my favs is Oprahs Soul Series. She has had so many spiritual speakers on there.Yesterday she spoke about following your intuition. I believe that what we call intuition, is the Holy Spirit whispering to us. For me its usually a whisper, sometimes he yells, lol, but not often. There have been many times in my life when I regretfully have not listened to that whisper. I try to get quiet each day so I can hear it, sometimes I dont hear it and Im sad.
But now my whisper is telling me to shout out a prayer.
So here goes
To all who read this, may the joy , peace, and shalom of the Holy Spirit rain on you today. May that rain touch and heal every aspect of your life and of your loved ones.May He instill peace and joy in the deepest part of your spirit and soul. And may the joy of the Lord be unleashed in your life so that you can live the wonderous life that He had planned for you since the beginning of time. Let the restrictions of this physical life be broken down and may the 'spirit you' live and touch all those you were meant to touch. Reach out and touch whom ever you can this day, for in your reaching , you are extending HIS hand. In Jesus name. Amen
Please know I type whatever I feel prompted to. If it doesnt make sense, sorry. But I am trying to , like most of us, let GOD be first in my life and to follow HIS will.
May blessings be showered on each and everyone of you today.
Strangely I am holding back tears as I think of the blessings coming down at this moment, dont know exactly why, but thats the truth of it. I pray that the blessing is for you, whoever you are , in your moment of need.

It's so easy to praise God when things are going great and then to wonder where He is when they're not so wonderful. So I love to hear Him being praised and lifted up even in the midst of difficult, or even just "ordinary" times. That's putting your faith into action and believing (about God) what we can't see (in our circumstances) at the time. Yes, He is worthy to be praised at ALL times! When we look at our lives from HIS viewpoint with HIS purposes in mind then circumstances lose their power to deflate us. I love that we can look to God and ALWAYS find hope and encouragement because of His amazing love and grace.
This thread is indicative of the spirit of this website and one of the reasons I'm so drawn to it. I think we are SISters (and brothers) in many senses of the word, eh?

I too have to sing my praises for HIM and everything he has done in my life. Some of you may have noticed my other thread for prayer request. Life is not always easy and it doesn't always turn out the way you thought it would. Things have definately not been easy for us this last year since the diagnosis of our son. However, we are immensley grateful for everything HE has provided for us. God has been wonderful to us and helping us on this journey that we had not planned. I really honestly try everyday to thank him for all the blessings in our lives. Each and everyone of you is right, we need to stop getting caught up in the craziness of everyday life, thank God for all the good stuff and take a breath and relax a little!
Thank you all my SISters and MISters in Christ!

God is good all the time even when everything seems to be going wrong...i know God has my back and that he loves and i'm the apple of His eyes...without him i would be nothing...but with him...i'm Blessed!!!

I feel the same way when I look at my children.
GOD IS GOOD!!!
We are so blessed with two precious girls, a home, a car, My husbands new job which we now have insurance through for the first time in our married lives!!!! woooohoooo!! My job, where my boss actually said to me, "this is a child rearing job" I only have to work part time and I couldn't ask for more.
Can I say it again?
GOD IS GOOD!!!
It's amazing when we get down to the wire and I think, yikes! I didn't buy enough food for the two weeks and we don't get paid until friday! Sure enough, someone will call and invite us over, I'll find money in a pocket, or Brian will get some sort of bonus. We are always taken care of. Just Amazing :)
