nschrock10 Style Addict (1122)	# Posted: 3 Jul 2008 19:25 Jackson went in to surgery at 7:30 this morning and the closed reduction did not work. They slit his ligaments to release some tension to try and get them in and that didn't work either. The doctor was booked today and so we are scheduling the open reduction surgery for the end of August beginning of September. Dr Lubicky said enjoy your summer and we will do the cast when it is not so hot. Plus it is a 6 hours plus surgery so the bigger he is the better for him and the doctor. Thank you all for your prayers. I am going to ask for a few more. We have never done and outpatient procedure and he is pretty out of it still tonight 12 hours later and in a bit of pain. Just pray for a good night and a quick healing.

Thank you all. I haven't decided yet what I think about all of it. God knows what is best and I trust him to take care of Jackson as he has done so far.
