since my dad died, and I'm having a rough day...
Please pray for me today. This day does not get any easier for me....I was only 14 when he died. We were two peas in a pod and I miss him like crazy....

I am so sorry and totally know how you feel. Father's Day (of all days!) was 10 years since I lost my dad. It's rough, but just keep thinking about the good times you did get to share.
You're in my thoughts. :)

thanks guys. i have kept pretty busy so far today with a visit to my dad's parents' house so they could see my other grandma. Then, my grandma and I went and got some dinner and stopped at the store and now we are home...
I was informed today that my grandparents are going to be great-grandparents for the first time in December...It's a little hard for me to hear, since I'm the oldest grandchild and thought growing up that I'd be the first one, but I also know that God has another plan and it will all work out in the end. :)
Anyway, now my grandma and I are home...I'm trying to get my stuff put away since I haven't been staying at my apartment in almost 2 weeks. And, then tomorrow I bring my grandma to the airport for her to fly home. It makes me even more sad to think about this. I love her so much and am going to miss her when she goes home. We had an amazing week together...the good thing is that I'll see her in about 3 weeks when I go back to Pennsylvania for the family reunion...I'm just trying to stay positive about her leaving. :(
