nanbhack Style Addict (1447)	# Posted: 28 Jun 2008 00:06 I just received news that my friend (MP)who had a Kindey Transplant last Thursday is having rejection issues. Basically they have found blood around her new kidney and she is losing blood. They are flying her from Chicago to Madison WI to make sure all gets better... Please say a prayer because we are concerned. My friend and I were going to drive MP's hubby to Madison because we didn't know how long it would take to stablize her and her hubby couldn't fly on the 'copter. Luckily it looks like MP stablized quickly by the time I called back and her hubby was on the road to Madison. Does anyone know what happens when there is bleeding post surgery? Does that mean something wasn't attached right? Or a stich popped? THanks for the prayers! Nan

nschrock10 Style Addict (1172)	# Posted: 29 Jun 2008 08:48 It is a rejection issue...i believe. your bodies way of fighting off a foreign body. Unfortunately from what we have learned with our son. Is that rejection is the biggest battle with a transplant. Someday we are praying that they discover an anti rejection drug that last a life time. I am praying hope she is feeling better. we understand all to well about kidney transplants.
