Unfortunately after assessing all of the water damage to the house and the foundation, they have determined that the house and all the things that were in it were a TOTAL LOSS. Just way too much water damage and mold and stench and there is sooo much CRAP in that water, that the house is not safe to life in and can't and WILL NOT be repaired. Sooo sooo sad. He did talk to his banker and since they have a large 'lot' out in the country with a huge corn crib and shed and garage, that he is going to try and sell the land for what he owes on the mortgage but that means taking a HUGE hit on his equity.....to the tune of $40,000 or more.
Makes me want to pick up the pace of the fundraising for him even more!! I feel sooo bad for him. He is still just numb to all this and having to live in a camper and not being certain on his future has got to be hard....please keep him in your prayers, k??

I am terribly sorry for his loss. I feel so bad for him and everyone else in all the devastation around there. I will definately keep he and his family in my thoughts and prayers!
