momof3crazies Model SISter (2579)	# Posted: 10 Jun 2008 23:23 will be updating with pics on my blog soon but the news here is not soo good either. Not lost anything of real value yet and had over two feet of water in our basement...they had volunteers all over sandbagging, towns are being evacuated left and right and the river here is supposed to crest tomorrow morning so I could definitely use your thoughts and prayers. BIL's house literally has water lapping up on the threshold of his door.....he is currently staying in our camper due to all the water....

tia0220 Model SISter (2820)	# Posted: 11 Jun 2008 07:36 This is so amazing to me! I was just home in Iowa two weeks ago and evertyhing was "normal". I hear it's as bad as the flood of '93. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. My family is on higher ground, just outside Des Moines. But, of all things they are worried about their dam on their pond washing away!

momof3crazies Model SISter (2579)	# Posted: 11 Jun 2008 08:27 hear it's as bad as the flood of '93 well unfortunately is is actually worse now in some spots...just crazy crazy and we are expecting two more days of torrential rains.
