hi all...
as you know, my dd's hamster died yesterday.
i know it seems a bit silly to post this... LOL... but she's having such a hard time with it. she's been sick & on the couch for the past 5 days and she thought it was her fault the thing died b/c she forgot to feed him and play with him. i had to convince her it wasn't.
"he died because he was lonely in my room without me." awwwww.
anyway, i thought it would help a bit if she shared her feelings and what better place than here. :)
and i chose to start a new thread to explain, instead of on hers, b/c she'll probably be checking it... so if you could be so kind as to just say a word or two on there, i would soooo appreciate it!
this is so weird, i know. :\
ok. off to bury the hamster with the other 230390348 that are already in the yard. LOL

is it morbid to take pictures of a dead hamster in his grave? LOL
thanks so much you guys for posting on her thread. it really means alot.
and my, so resilient these kids are today!
*tear tear so...when can i go buy a new one tear tear*
it's a good thing those little suckers are only $10! ;)

I always have a hard time when my pets die. I cried for days when my rabbit died. Thanks for letting us respond to her. Hugs!

you can buy a new one right away! I know it seems weird but the best advice the Vet at the clinic I work at Says get anouther animal right away!!! and realize that it's it's own individual it isn't there the replace the old one but to start a new adventure with the child or in some cases adult. I hope your daughter is alright and I hope she can start a new adventure with a new furry campanion. ~Candi~
