I would really appreciate any prayers anyone would give for my sweet Sinny Mae. She got sick Saturday night and I rushed her into emergency. She is still in guarded condition and any prayers would be so appreciated. I love her so much and am really having a hard time with it. I could use some strength as well as I can't seem to stop crying. I'd appreciate any good thoughts very much. Thanks.

I am Renee's sister and I want everyone to know what an awesome friend Renee has been to her cat. A couple years ago Sinny went into a coma and was subsequently diagnosed with diabetes. Renee's devotion helped her pull through that crisis and Sinny has been doing great ever since. This is a hard time and I'm sure she will really appreciate your thoughts and prayers when she sees this thread.

Renee, sending you and Sinny Mae lots of prayers and HUGS! I'm not going through the exact same thing. But my female cat has onset of kidney failure...which causes several other problems. Every day is so stressful with her seeing her having good and bad days. It's like taking care of an elderly sick person. We love her, but it's taking a huge toll on us. All because we love our furbabies. I really hope everything goes well for you and Sinny Mae. It's so hard when they can't communicate to you. Please keep us posted.

Thank you all so much. It really means more than you know. The doctors found a tumor on Sinny Mae's adrenal gland, which the doctor assures me is a slow form of cancer in cats and the side effects can be treated with oral meds. More concerning is a mass in her lungs that we are waiting for results on. She has perked up considerably and although she's in the hospital tonight, the doctor thinks she'll be able to come home tomorrow evening. Any continued good thoughts would really be appreciated as we wait for the results of the lung biopsy. It's possible it's just a fungal infection which would be easily treated with anti-biotics. That's my prayer. She has just been my best little pal and although each day with her is a gift, the thought of losing her is still so overwhelming. Right now she is coming out of anesthesia from her procedure today but the doctor said she had a good day and was free of pain and grooming herself - hopefully all will go well.

I will continue to pray for you both - thanks for the update. I have a poodle turning 14 in June and I sooo get how much of a beloved companion a pet can be!
