I know that there is strength in prayer and I want to ask this amazing group of ladies here to pray for my very good friend Esther and her family. They've been through too much this past year, they lost the strength of their family...their mom, to cancer, an uncle to cancer, a cousin to a heart attack. Esther's sister was diagnosed with leukemia 6 months ago and is undergoing treatment. Esther's niece had emergency surgery to remove her spleen, another niece miscarried. Esther herself had her own cancer scare in the past couple weeks. Last night she called me because her great niece has been hospitalized with meningitis. Mikaella is very sick and if she doesn't respond to treatment, her organs will start to fail and they will loose her. It appears that Mikaella's new baby brother may have meningitis too.
My heart is breaking for Esther and her family and I'm trying to have positive thoughts, but I think a higher power needs to be called upon. If you wouldn't mind praying for this family, I would appreciate it very much.

I will think of them today and send them lots of healing and positive thoughts!
Please let us know how everything goes and if we can do anything for the family!

Ladies -
I have to send my deepest appreciation for your prayers. (and Esther said "thank you so much" also.)
Mikaella does not have meningitis, thank God! She has been diagnosed with some autoimmune disorder (details are vague, I guess b/c there are so many?!) and is out of the woods for now, but will be treated the rest of her life for the other.

So glad to hear she is doing well!!!!! I hope the family gets a well deserved break for some rest and happiness!!
