AS many of you read Katie's dad had a terrible fall a few weeks ago. When I read her blog today, sadness overcame me. I know that we are all so supportive of our sisters and misters in times of need.
I can't imagine the pain and sadness her family is dealing with.

This family will be in my prayers all day. What a sad day. Katie's dad looks like he enjoyed being with his family very much according to the pictures on her blog. What a gift it was to have him in her life.

He was a fighter and he fought. The family was told they should make a decision on whether to take him off life support or not and we believe he made that decision for him. I will miss him. Katie is hanging in there but she can surely use some more prayers and good thoughts from all of you.

Katie...I don't know you, but my prayers for your strength are being sent. I lost my own Daddy a few years ago and we had to decide to remove him from life support after heart failure (It happened in front of me, but even with CPR, I was unable revive him. He was down too long for a real recovery once EMS arrived). If you want to chat, please feel free to private message me. Oh no...I was so hoping this would turn out okay for them.

i felt so awful today when i read the news. i can't even begin to imagine how they all feel. i agree that they were so lucky to have had him in their lives.
