TracyTN Favorite SISter (5492)	# Posted: 10 Mar 2008 17:11 ...a fellow SISter had to say goodbye today to her beloved furbaby, Beau, after a battle with illness and recent surgery, in which the situation turned into her having to make "that" painful, yet merciful decision. I would be very grateful if you could please take a brief moment to show Meowgal/Carolyn some lub as she grieves this loss (perhaps a supportive comment on one of her LOs about Beau?). proebuck SISter Elle (1988)	# Posted: 10 Mar 2008 17:20 OMG...My husband and I are about to have to make that decision with a sick cat. I'm so going to this site. Huge HUGS to her. I've been crying off and on and again wondering when and knowing I'll have to face it soon.

It's a terrible, gut-wrenching decision to have to make...I know you'll be strong when the time comes because your need to end the suffering will enable you to let go. Thanks for your comments (and thanks to others who have commented so far) on Beau's LOs.

Beauregard was my "furchild" and staying with him for his last moment was a privilege and the least I could do for him. I will miss those beautiful blue eyes for all of my days, but still feel that we who love pets are lucky. There is a quote I will use in scrapbooking my memories of Beauregard, and I'd like to share it with you all: Fragile Circle "We who choose to surround ourselves with lives even more temporary than our own, live within a fragile circle, easily and often breached.
