i don't really know kurt, he is either 14 or 15 years old and lives in my hometown. but my cousin emailed me today asking for prayers so i thought it would be nice to put him on the prayer list here. his name is kurt blake and he was injured while ski-ing. things don't look great for him, but his family is hopeful and they are deep Christians and would really appreciate the power of your prayers! kurt is also really good friends with my sisters son.....God bless you all.

My thoughts are going out to them. How kind of you to post this for someone you've never met. That in itself is probably sending rediculous amounts of positive energy his way.

it's so so sad. i guess a bunch of his friends are going to visit him in the hospital today.....hope that helps bring him out of his coma.

things are not looking good as it looks as if kurt has suffered a stroke. please continue to keep his loving family in your prayers as i know they will need them. my cousin is updating me daily.....
thanks everyone. i guess this has really touched me because the boy is not only a friend of my nephew but reminds me so much of him!

Tara, thank you for bringing Kurt and his family to our awareness. His family, I am sure, needs those prayers more than ever now! I will continue to be thinking of them at this difficult time.

thank you everyone. i am amazed at this familie's faith and trust in God. They are such a testimony even now at their time of grief. it's just AMAZING!
