Yesterday my 9 year old nephew was tentatively diagnosed with Dermatomyositis. They are running a few more tests today, just to be sure that's all that's going on with him. Also they're not exactly sure what type he has and how he will respond to treatment. He's being admitted into the hospital today. He could sure use lots of prayers just to be on the safe side. It would be very much appreciated. Thank you! Linda

Thanks to all of you for the extra prayers! We really appreciate it so much! My nephew is now in the hospital and we are still waiting for confirmation that the diagnosis is correct and that there's nothing more serious going on with him. Then they will begin treatment.
However, now I have another request for you. This is so unbelievably sad that it had me in tears tonight. My brother was telling me tonight that they (my brother and my nephew) are sharing a room with a 3 or 4 year old little girl who's parents only come to visit her one a day for a very short period of time or sometimes not at all. I guess sometimes her mother does call her on the phone, but every time the little girl starts crying and begging for her mother to come. We don't know why this is, but the nurses are making a big fuss over this poor little girl. How heartbreaking is that, that she's there all alone! We don't know what's wrong with her either but this part of the hospital is apparently where there are a lot of cancer patients. Could everyone please just say a little prayer for her tonight. Thank you!

What the heck is wrong with people? My heart breaks for that little girl. :( She's just a baby.
