my dear friend joan is going through an unbelievably rough time. she lost her mom on friday, and then this morning, she lost the love of her life steve. i can't even fathom losing my mom and my man within 3 days. please pray for her and her family-thanks so much.

thank you all so much for your prayers. i just spoke with joan and she says she can *feel* the prayers-there is no other way she could get through this. please keep praying-the next few days, weeks and months are going to be tough. and thanks again-you all are the best.

thanks again everyone. today was steve's funeral and it was a really tough day for my friend. please continue to pray for her...i think the reality of this is just starting to hit.

This is increadibly heartbreaking. Joan will be in my prayers. I pray that she has many nearby friends like you to help with her daily strength and lift her up in person.
