My darling sweet nephew is currently undergoing emergency surgery after being savagly attacked by a dog this afternoon.
Please pray that the Docs will be able to save his sight - Please spare a prayer for my Sis that she has strength to get through what possibly will be the longest night - Please pray for a speedy recovery for my baby Nephew.
My BIL is a Verger and all of his regular congregation are holding a Mass for baby William this evening - please join them in prayer.

OMG! Tracie that is terrible to hear. I am so sorry this happened to your family. I will think of them and send out lots of good thoughts! Let us know if everything turns out ok. That is just scary!

Tracie, I hope everyone can stay strong and that all turns out well. This is so awful for everyone involved and we can only imagine the pain you are all going through as a family.

Just a quick update.
William underwent 8 hours of surgery - the specialist was concerned that his optic nerve was damaged but thankfully all appears to be OK.
Its a case of a waiting game now :( The surgeon thinks that William will possibly have lost 50% sight in one eye :(
He has a very nasty wound which runs across his face from hairline to hairline - I wont go in to too many details as its just too horrid.
His cheek muscle was badly damaged but a specialist plastic surgeon was called in and she assured my Sis that she did her best to make sure Williams face will be "OK".
I cant begin to tell you how devastated we all are.....its been a very long and tearful night.
Positive vibes and prayers would be appreciated.

Tracie... i'm so sorry that this happened... we will be praying for him and your sister... this is just terrible. i can only imagine what your family is going through.

Just popping by to give a quick update.
William is doing fine under the circimstances.
The swelling a bruisng is going down and he seems to be OK and not too fazed by all that is going on.
The Chaplin has visited him daily and he has been given a blessing for a speedy recovery.
My Sis is a lot better and feeling much more positive - which in its self is a blessing.
Thank you all so much for taking time to spare your thoughts and prayers for my sweet nephew.
