On Friday morning my 8yo will be having surgery for an inguinal hernia. We're told it's a common and uncomplicated procedure but we are still quite nervous. He'll be under general anethesia. I have confidence in the surgeon it's just the anethesia that makes me nervous. If you could pray for him I would appreciate it. He's a bit nervous and we're doing our best to reassure him. His name is connor.

Thank you everyone. I really, really appreciate the prayers and good thoughts. I've been feeling so alone with my worry and it really helps to know that other's are praying and thinking of us.

My 4 year old just had that done in September so I can relate to your worries but it is a very routine procedure and kids bounce back sooo fast - my son had his surgery on a friday and laid around all day saturday and by sunday he was asking to play hockey...

thanks for sharing your experience. The dr. said they do bounce back from it quickly but I haven't actually heard or known anyone else that had the procedure done to ask if it was true!

Again, thanks everyone! I really appreciate you all taking the time to say a prayer for us! Connor is home now and surgery went very well- there were no complications. He's just resting and very happy to be back at home.
