I've got a dilemma. So this morning, I logged on to poke around a bit, and my kids were playing, and starting a little toddler fight which I prompting broke up and then got them some snacks to stop the bickering and before I knew it, it was afternoon, my computer had long since timed out and voila, I missed all my Fav SISters new layouts. Now I've learned a few lessons here. 1) wait for kiddos to be sleeping or knee deep in playdough before logging in. 2) if I didn't have SO MANY FAVS I could just jump into their portfolios and manually check 'em out. But alas, 1) won't always happen and 2) well, I'll probably keep adding to my favs. SOoooo,
any suggestions about this? Could they stay in my profile for, say 24 hours? Or have you guys already think-tanked this issue, and I just need to deal? Please--I am not offended if there is no way, but it never hurts to ask!

You can always go to the Strut your stuff section and see if any of the new uploads are from your favs.

Yeah, I was justing thinking about that, and I wondered if there was a way to DATE Sort the gallery. I am pretty good about checking it all out often, but sometimes there are a hundred to go through!
I know this is super-minor in the grand scheme...but my favorite thing to do here is leave comments!

I concur with your comment but my favorite thing to do here is leave comments!. Unfortunately, I'm not a 'regular user' of the website like most of you SISters, so I'm not sure what's important or not. However, one thing is for sure: It is important to leave comments and we encourage everyone to do just that! So, I'm going to use my VAST influence at SIStv and try and find out whether your suggestion can be implemented. (Please pray that I don't lose my job!!!)

thanks Gary, but it isn't worth your JOB!! You're too cool to even ask. I think it's one of those things I'll have to get used to with kids, like how I can't seem to eat a meal while it's hot...etc. No further work on your part, okay?

OH YEAH me too!!! I had my demonic one year old smash the keyboard on my pc with his toy tractor and I lost all the lovely list of comments people had made, as I was slowly going through and checking out the galleries of people who had made comments IYKWIM, and the list of the new uploads from my fave sisters too, so I was rather sad. SO if this could be done that would be wonderful!!

That has happened to me and I just check out the SYS and if I have time, I double check some of my FS. I hate it when that happens!

i moved earlier this month and didn't get on here for like two weeks, so when i got on of course i had like 100 new layouts to look at. i use firefox, so i opened all of them up in tabs and then saved all of the tabs in a bookmark folder. then when i had time i came back and looked at all of them. not a perfect solution, but it works when you know you're not going ot have time to look at everything!
