I took my cutesy black bag out today to church. Put 2 coloring books and 2 boxes of crayons in it and noticed that one of the straps has come out. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can fix it? I have a sewing machine, but I'm pretty clueless on how to go about repairing it. Should I rip out the stitching and re-sew it that way?

Thanks!!! :)

Oh, I had a little question, too... does the bag come with some sort of tie on the top to close it? Mine didn't. Is it one long tie that goes through both sides? I was thinking of just using a really long shoelace or something...

Kristin, I am SO sorry about your bag. These are very high quality bags, so that just shouldn't happen. We will happily replace yours. If you don't mind, please send me an email at JeanetteLH@scrapinstyletn.com with your address and I will send you out another one.

Purpleflowergirl, Hey I was a purple flower girl once...LOL, seriously I was in a wedding when I was like three or four and my dress was purple! I LOVED it. :) OK, back on to the point...it should be that if you pull out on the two straps of the bag it will close similar to a drawstring. The straps are like backpack straps. Let me know if that doesn't work. :)

I must say I lub my bag. I took it to the GASC last week. Very light. Loved it!

Oh, you see, sometimes I need a little gentle hand holding! I swear I tried to pull on the handles when it first came, but nothing happened (it seems so obvious now!). Thank you so much for instructing me on how to close my bag!

Okay so I hate to say that too...It happened the same thing with mine...
But i think it was my fault...cuz I put my camera and the big lens and I guess it got to heavy.
And to fix its pretty simple you just rip out the stiches as you said, and sew it again, one trick that may help is to burn the edges of the stripe with a lighter, just a bit so it will keep safe from unweave.;0)
