Anam thank you for putting so much time into this! I look forward to having my first pages be about my favorite things. I should have mine started soon.
Still thinking of what album style I want to make or use.
I think(still not sure what day my husband will be home) my plans for the weekend include some boating swimming at the lake gotta stay cool. Getting my home cleaned and some scrapbooking (I will make time for it)

Okay SISters - I'm completely lost in a sea of mini albums, journals, etc. What all are ya'll using to make your CJ?

I have used hardback spiral journals - basically a small sketch pad and just covered the cover..
I have also made cardboard/chipboard covers and page inserts and them punched holes for book rings or ribbon..
i have doine tags in a box, index cards with a single hole for a book ring..
the possibilies are endless :) but if youa re stuck go tomuichaels and look at their soiral bound norebooks or sketch books.. norammly pretty cheap..
you just have to make sure it can be opens up flat without hassle and have room so if you add dimension that the book sstill looks like a book..

please bind your CJs even if just loosely with a piece of string so it all keeps it together :)
in an old cj, i used a maya road box and mde tags to fit inside of it :)

I am using a small sketch pad that is able to be painted, etc. pretty simple really.

I went to Hobby Lobby and found a thin SEI album (I think it's the one Heather mentioned) that's expandable and perfect for me. Thanks for all ya'lls help! :)

PS: My new theme, if everyone doesn't mind my utter inability to stick to a decision, is "Laugh Out Loud" and it's simply about things that make you laugh out loud. I promise this is my last change :)

I LOVE your new topic - that is totally me! and am completely ok with you changing it!
In other news my intro page is done (no idea what you call it, but I needed a filler page before my first double layout...)
and have realized that my 'style' must be one of my quirks - cause this page nothing like the cover (1/4 done) which is rather colourful, and sparkly... but it's all good!

Fun! I have finished my cover and am working on my layout. I still need to do the intro page & the signature page. Plus, mine has got to go in the mail next Friday because I'm leaving town for two weeks and won't be able to work on it after that.
Finishing the CJ is my big priority for this weekend.

i'm in the sister swapp so i had to finish my art journal for my partner first but i just finished so i'm starting my cj next hope to have it finished up by the end og next week.

glad everyone is doing creative stuff - i am up to my ears in holiday stuff as my inlaws are here and we're doing tons of stuff :) lots of photos - no time to scrapbook!!
will be back to normal next week though :)

I made one cover, decided it was too plain and converted it to the back cover so I get to start fresh with a new front cover now and I still have to make my entry and sign in page. Whew! I see lots of working on this in my "right after we move" future!
