BlessedinTexas Favorite SISter (10207)	# Posted: 18 Aug 2008 22:07 Okay so the first thread I typed did not take so I am going to try this again....I hope everyone had a great day! today i am thankful..... 1. Life, today, a new week and God's blessings 2. His protection 3. My mom - she is an incredible woman and I am so glad she is my mom - most giving and thoughtful person 4. Sweet and loving neighbors 5. My dd even though I am kidded out....is that a word?? haha 6. My new baby sitter who started this week...momma needed a break and this is good for dem - this is the sweetest young lady who we have known for quite some time.... 7. SIStv - 8. Friends - thanks for your love! 9. Cooler temps - woohoo - 80 today with lots of rain....and for the next 2 days 10. New client who is going to make 2 offers tomorrow - I am so grateful and considered all my clients angels - 11. Blistex 12. My home, working car, fresh milk and bread, breakfast dinners, fresh fruit 13. Lower gas prices - 14. Just some down time with NO kids this afternoon - its amazing what this can do for a mentally tired mom and woman..ha 15. Miracles and answered prayers everyday - prayer warriors! 16. My life - I am so blessed and have and continue to trust the Lord and His plans for my life....and that i dont have to do this alone - He is always with me if i will lean on HIM... I hope everyone else has or is having a great day and has someone or something to be grateful for today!! Hugs, BIT
hilly0013 Favorite SISter (6359)	# Posted: 18 Aug 2008 22:09 I'm thankful for.... my temporary babysitting job...and it looks like i'm working on getting something more permanent with a different family. my friend christina...she's been helping me through so much. my faith in God....cuz without it I would have crashed and burned this past week. my pastor....eventhough he's leaving in a few weeks to pursue a new adventure.... ROD....christina's fiance'....for making her so happy. :) i can't wait for their wedding day. :)

Thanks BIT....i've been missing these lately.....i don't know if they haven't been posted, or i just miss them.... there's been a lot of things going on lately...good things. :)

I know this was hard news for you but lean on Him - we are waiting. she had a PET scan on friday. she has a doc appt this coming friday and will get the details then. i hate the waiting....that has been the hardest part for me. glad to hear that and congrats on your new job - hang in there and remember to have fun....while making some money - yeah, i'm trying to have fun...it's so hard when all that matters to these girls is how much "stuff" you have....it's all about money and name brands and stuff like that. it's just kind of hard, cuz i'm barely able to pay my bills and they have like 10 American Girl dolls and they have 2 horses and all sorts of things....
scrappingoodness Stylin' SIS (168)	# Posted: 18 Aug 2008 23:13 my alarm clock - a spirited three year old who wakes me most days with - "Mommmmma... waaaakkkke uuuuup - it's morning time! come give me my morning hug!" my new boss - who seems to "get me" online friends the internet who reconnected me to a younger cousin i lost touch with - and i never knew she was just like me... my grandmother - who sadly i never really knew growing up - but i get to see now - not as often as i'd like - but relish in the fact that she got to see her great grand-daughter... grams will be 95 this year! and grateful for language and comprehension of my three year old girlie. just this morning, over breakfast - she asked me - "momma? what does proud mean?" umm - ya think she hears it a LOT? thanks - BIT - for this.
