Okay whose house is as bad as mine, Wendi, tracy aka weebt and wants to join our messy house club....
We should elect officers too so who wants to be the Pres?
Who has time to clean? not me and that is fo sho!!!!
Hope everyone is having a good weekend and I have to say it is good to see SIS getting busy and having fun!!!

my house is trashed.
and i'm supposed to clean tomorrow.
but between church and a photo shoot (and mowing, yuck!) i doubt the likely-ness of a spotless floor ;)

okay, so i just cleaned my house, so i can't join.
what helped me keep a clean house, you ask??
the swiffer vacuum.
it is amazing!
leaves my tile floors so dust free.
10239801238012830912 times better than a broom.
i'm in love.

i want to know why everyone you havent seen in 5 years decides to drop by the week the texas tornado comes through...not after you clean, the lysol illuminates throughout the house....?? haha

my house seems to be the hang out house for 5 BOYS!!
and they do know how to make messes, but don't seem to know how to clean up! ;D
i wouldn't have it any other way! jake is having an awesome childhood and that is what it is all about!

For real, I could be the ring leader of the messy house club. And messy garage. It's disgraceful really. But you know, there are lots of other things I'd rather do than clean nonstop, so I accept it.

Amen Julie....the only one it bothers is my mom...who doesnt come by to stay much...she is a neat freak and I think this mess is overwhelming for her and somewhat for me...but with some energy I hope to get it done tomorrow - wish my luck!!
I love the kids being here but there a price to pay when they go home IF they go home..haha
And now that the girls are getting older....they can eat me out of a house on a weekend too - haha

Tracy - LOL!!! My garage is an obstacle course...I almost can not get in my car...not good and somehow I have to get a bounce house in it this week - holy moly...

oh it sometimes overwhelms me too, that is when i start spinning my wheels and really get nothing done! but then i get a chunk of time to clean it all up and that always feels good! but then..... here they come again! (insert scream here) lol!!
it is definitely all worth it though!
i can't imagine how you do it as a single mom!

I know the Lord never gives us more than he knows we can handle...sometimes we just dont know our limits....that is partly why I am so tired and done by 9pm but like you i wouldnt change a thing either!!!

Oye Im reading more of this now..and Ladies at least ya' all have a garage to trip over...I have to store Bikes in my living room ! UGh its a nightmare! I dont have much motivation to clean when the whole place is more of a storage unit than a home...I hate apartments!

oh i want a maid.
i'm pretty good at keeping at the house. but if i don't "tidy up" everyday, the house can become a wreck in the blink of an eye.
which of course pisses me off so i either throw a fit and a) clean like crazy again or b) go on strike and let the house go down the drain.
lol. but doing the latter doesn't work out all that well because in the end, it's me cleaning the house. . :{

ummm, me, I can join LOL. I did vacuum and am getting through some washing & I made the kids clean their rooms (I should lead by example...) and the house fairy visited them... but there are so many other things I would rather do, better go stack the dishwasher. brb.

here's my rationalizing the messy house I have:
do I want my kids to grow up and say, my house was really clean?
OR do I want them to look thru the scrap pages I have made and say, I'm so glad I have these to remember what it was like growing up.
the latter. I proudly choose it. I vote me for pres. of the messy house club.

I want to be treasurer cuz I'm not good with budgeting either!
Hubby is in chemo, I'm sick, DSs keep dropping by to spend time with dad and while they are at it theY eat and do laundry and use my studio for their projects.....but I must admit I'm the worst. I used to not be this way,but why do it when it just gets messed up? My studio is the worst. I blame it on my creative artist side, but hubby is an artist and is very neat. I didn't know how much he did around the house untl he got sick!

Mine's a mess even when it's clean.
Four kids is a damn good excuse though b/c it's really not MY mess!!!
I pick up these same things countless times a day....
dirty socks
couch pillows strewn everywhere but the couch (makes me crazy)
refrigerator magnets
hairbrushes on floor and stairs
afghans/blankets
food remnants
paper from drawings, coloring books and bits cut from "snowflakes" (endless and constant and usually a huge pile of bits on the floor in front of the trashcan)
Going to stop now...blood pressure is rising as I type.

I feel your pain....okay so I got my bounce house in the garage today but moved everything into the driveway...do you think if I put everything up at the driveway it would all be gone by 5pm...
I should do it just to see...was going to take it all to good will but heck if someone needs it...why not?
I had a friends husband bring the bounce house today and he could not believe how much crap I have and actually offered to put tile in my scraproom and to build me storage shelves and block it off from living room - you know how delighted I am? This would so rock my world and solve half of my problem...scrapping stuff laying all around the house literally!!! Wooohooooo ----------------------------------------------
I vote choxie pres and barb treasurer, what other officers need to be elected....membership, VP, parli, sunshine, clothes box...??
