lalalee, can you give us more deets on what you found for a mere 6.95?

tracy

Sure Tracy!!

It is called a "My Colour Printer" (for ages 3 & up) by Galey Toys (hong kong company - it is all made in china of course!), and it is a kids screen printing set.

It comes with the screen printing machine (frame, brayer, cover), screen nets, blocking gel, and then some paints and stencils.

It is all dodgy plastic so I daresay won't hold up to any prolonged use, but for someone who just wants to have a bit of a play without the investment in a proper setup it is a good starter. I have no delusions about the fact it may not work well, but it should at least give me an idea if it is something I want to do.

It'll be interesting to see how it goes when I finally get to have a chance to play with it!

I WANT SOME GOCCO GOODNESS!

I have had my eye on one of those babies for awhile now. The one I have been eyeing is actually listed on ETSY so I can't give a direct link to it...but I think I can tell you how to get to it. Here goes...

go to ali e's website, click OBSERVE on the left hand column of the page, click creative links, click the blog "good-ness". She lives in Japan and has some the coolest merch. and reasonable prices. Shipping is kinda a pain but her prices seem good. Hope I am not breaking any rules here...

gocco it up!

I am going to be on the lookout for a children's version and I am intrigued by the Provo Craft one. Hopefully it's not too pricey. I really want a letterpress but that is not feasible at this time.

keep it in the box, unused for 9 months. then, when you need to buy a ticket to TN sell it for a profit,
hang out with sisters in TN.

this is what i did.
amen.

i bought it way back last summer thinking i would do stuff with it. never got around to it.
it was too much hassle.
