I bet there are bbq's and fun and parades and scrap-a-tunities galore going on. Here in Indiana it's gloomy and rainy. I'm working on cleaning, already did a load of laundry and made breakfast. This afternoon I have to go to my stepdaughters final wedding gown fitting (odd for July 4th, the place never seems to close!! ). I hope to squeeze in a trip to Joann fabrics. And I have to go to Target to get an RX filled, and walk 45 min. on the treadmill. Other than that it should be a chill day.

hey....
with my grandparents' neighbors i'm going to the local parade...and then hanging out with them for a bit. my family isn't doing 4th of july this year. then, tonight, i'm going to grand haven to hang out with friends and bbq and watch the fireworks... :) that's about it....

Sad to say there is no pancake breakfast :( I was so hoping for some, But we are going to the parade and to the vendors/ craft area now, then some food, and games later, a bbq, fireworks. Oh yah, and presents and cupcakes- Its my birthday!

I am headed to the river with all my family *there is about a billion of us* where my parents have this big sandbar. My dad is grillin. Got a keg. Maureen and her family is coming! So we should have fun!!

i'm working on cleaning the house and making a grocery list so we can go when adam gets home.
i'm also going to scrap- i actually sat down and scrapped for a couple hours yesterday and it was awesome...i didn't realize how much i missed it...
then we're having a bbq with some friends and fireworks.

Well right now it's raining here...ughhhhh so the girls and I are going to the mall and then tonight well hang out with friends and watch the fireworks..

Well I am about to get up and get ready for the day. I have a haircut appointment this morning and then a bbq at 1 pm. I want to go see the fireworks at 9:30 tonight but can't find anyone to go with. I also plan on getting some scrapping time in.

the sun is shining in my neck of the woods...yay! babe and i are going to head to the beach with my sis and then we're having a dinner bbq at my parents house.
hubs is at work until 4 :(
plans are to see fireworks tonight, but we already saw some last night so that's debateable.
i made patriotic cupcakes, ala martha stewart, and taco dip...yum!

we're having a bbq tonight - just us and a friend from out of town. we can see distant fireworks from our deck so need to go anywhere :)
right now it's gloomy out. but we might take a walk to the park...
i was going to make strawberry shortcake but forgot to get strawberries. duh. maybe i'll run to the grocery store today.

I hung out with my sister in our backyard, took a bunch of pictures, went swimming, took funny pictures of my dog on the golf cart. Fun stuff. Now I'm editing my pictures and waiting for it to get dark to go see some fireworks....and play with some sparklers.

I've been enjoying a marathon of food-themed shows on the Travel Channel this afternoon. I love shows that take us to unique and/or historical places throughout the U.S. :)
The first show was about pizza, the next was about ice cream, then deep fried foods and now BBQ. Very interesting info!
At the top of the hour between each program, they have a correspondent giving live reports from the National Mall and they have a countdown to when the D.C. fireworks begin. Since I'm from that area, I appreciate the glimpses from our Nation's Capital, especially on a patriotic holiday :) The channel is also inviting viewers to text msg them and they are displaying the msgs on a crawl at the bottom of the screen. I've seen a couple marriage proposals and God Bless our troops and Happy 4th and comments on some of the foods featured in the shows. Quite entertaining :)

i am hanging out with the hubby. a quiet day for us. went shopping at the outlet mall--got some cute tops at Gap. other than that not much going on.
