As My wonderful Julie said, I need everything by July but if you don't can't get it to me by then please send it anyway, I want to be able to give supplies to foster parents that come here for that training so the can leave here excited and if they need help with supplies I will be able to say, come into our storage area and give them a few things!!!!!!
Feel free to ask any questions, anyone who reads this, I would love for this to be an on going project! I am going to start another post about this for on going contributions!

Kristin - I reached out to all my scrapbooking friends and at least 3 of them would like to donate as well, i offered to to ship it all together once they give me their donations. I wanted to send the package this week but will give my girls some time to get their donations together.
How is everything going?

Hey All, Well I have recieved 3 packages of stuff so far! I find it so funny while I am sorting this stuff to find that, well atleast the three that have sent me things so far, well I have similar things in my stacks of papers and boxes of embellishments. In Julie's really big box she had some creative memory stuff, I also had put the same stuff into the mix! I had won it at an auction a few weeks ago and it is not my style so I put it in the project pile!
My Dinning room table is covered. I am sorting things out as it comes in and then when I have room here at work I will move it, I think.
I really want to keep it there and when it is time to bag it up do it at my house so I can make lunch for everyone that is helping.
I have not had much luck with donations from any companies I have contacted, nor stores! I have one more store in the area that I am going to contact but I am feeling a bit frustrated with the LSS as I want them to help! They will get free advertising and it is a write off so I am not sure why they won't???
My friend, who works at a large company, I suggested to her that maybe she could help? Well her boss won't let her do it! I can't get over how some people don't want to help this or any cause, just strange!
So that is what is going on at the moment! Wish I had more to tell you on the way of the locals!
There is time, I need everything for the conference by the middle of July, that will give me plenty of time to get everything ready. If I can get things sooner that is great, then I can figure out what we don't have and try to get some things as well. I am going to ask my committee members to make a donation so we can purchase things like scissors and things that we don't get.
Anything that comes in after the middle of July will be used for trainings around the state. I will look into the other schedules and if they are offering Lifebook training in their area I will send a care package to them with supplies for the Foster Parents to take with them.
As I have said, this is something I feel very passionate about, I am so blessed to have you all on board with me.

Just wanted to tell you all that someone sent me 10 dollars in the mail for the project. No one signed it and the postmark was from my state of OH but not sure who sent it. KINDA CUTE!~ MUCH APPRECIATED!

My box is packed and heading out tomorrow. I don't want to weight it, but the 5 year old can't lift it, so that is telling . . .

Hello Ladies! I wanted to tell you about a new donation that I am excited about!
I work as a training coordinator and was on the phone for a totally different reason and the trainer said that she works at a seminary and teachers on the subject of grief and loss and then she said part of the class is that the students have to make a lifebook. Well I got all excited and began to tell her about our project and she then told me she was a creative memory distributor. She is going to get some things together from her CM stuff and her own personal stash. I am also going to give her a flyer and she is going to take it to her next open meeting and see if other distributors would like to donate as well!
I am also going to contact a few people, as I had not thought of this before, not sure why but I didn't, and see if they will donate from their companies as well!!! I will keep you updated on this
