... about my exciting trip to Disneyland, eathquake & all.
... about the awesome catamaran excursion that took us out into the ocean to see some dolphins. *sigh* i LOVE dolphins.
... about how much i missed being here.
... about how much ART i missed! seriously. y'all need to hook me up with some LO's. i'd love it if you'd show me a favorite LO you've seen this past week and a LO you've done!
... about the glorious cloudy day i woke up to. they seem to have the reverse effect on me. instantly puts me in a good mood. :)

hi hilly! how you doing?
how was your trip? did you feel the earthquake?
we did! we were just about to get on the Space Mountain ride and as we were walking up the ramp & UNDER this tunnel thing (that we thought the roller coaster went through, but later found out that NOTHING goes through it), it hit. the columns that tunnel thing sat on were swaying and a piece of a light fixture above us fell off. it was freaky! my husband said to us "aah, that was just the rollercoaster" and i was thinking "ok, if that was the rollercoaster, AIN'T NO WAY you're gettin' me on that thing!" lol
they wound up kicking EVERYONE out of EVERY line for EVERY ride in the park, so that thousands of people were just gathered in the streets of Disneyland. packed like sardines. oy.

i'm good. had an amazing day saturday. sunday was pretty good, but our pastor put in his notice that his last day is august 31st. pretty sad cuz he's an amazing guy....

the girls first time there. i think they got a little more than they bargained for! heh.
we left the park for a little while, and then went back later & didn't leave until they kicked us out.

I'm home. It was Coast Guard Festival in my hometown last week....so saturday was kind of the big day....Parade, fireworks, etc....
We watched the parade from my friends' house and they had a party too...then we went to the beach and then later at night we went to fireworks.

when does your summer vacation end again?
kids go back to school right after labor day.
i just booked our end of summer vacay this morning.
2 glorious days in lancaster pa!
