i was actually supposed to go to a birthday party;....now i'm just gonna lay low. :)
and home always.....that is awesome! im such a homebody... id love to be home always!
except i never have money... :) i'm a college student though so i do have to leave for classes....but i try to NEVER have classes on monday and friday....

I work as the front desk lady at the local Catholic Grammer School. That's my real job - even though I don't really get paid. I also direct two children's choirs - one for school and one for church and I have a framing business that I run out of my basement, but seriously, since this scrapping stuff started, I'm finding that I'm not all that excited about framing anymore, but don't tell my husband. :)

hil, my hubs is finishing up his college... he has just this summer semester left... he is taking 2 classes and one full time internship at our church.

I had my Starbucks Green Tea Frapp (what a mouthful yesterday). ;)
No holiday here today, ours was last weekend.
So i'm gonna go and clean my fish bowl, do the dishes, and try to get my mojo on with something creative. ;)

Hi Hilly.
Amber, we don't have to talk about this if you don't want to, but I AM very interested in your story with your mom. I, too, am an alcoholic, but haven't had a drink in 11 years....
My oldest son, who is 17 1/2, unfortunately, had the dis-pleasure to experience many of my drinking pitfalls and although we've talked about it extensively, I wonder what, from early childhood, are some of the side effects. Can you identify any?

cool...i wish i was almost done but i'm not....
it will pass by so quickly... his really has... it's be crazy! he was almost done when we got married but took a break to work so we could have some $... haha now... he is almost done and we are poor again! haha hoping that a job comes soon for him!

t will pass by so quickly... his really has... it's be crazy! he was almost done when we got married but took a break to work so we could have some $... haha now... he is almost done and we are poor again! haha hoping that a job comes soon for him!
it feels like it's taking forever to me....seriously. plus, i'm kind of getting to a point where i really need to decide what i want to do. because that determines if i go to public school or a private school....

Di... I applaud you girl...
that is incredible...
side affects for my as a COA(children of alcoholic) has really been that I can not remember the good times about my childhood... you know.. the stuff kids are supposed to remember...
also, i do know that i have some of her characteristics and i need to be careful w/addiction type things... since that does run in my family... a LOT Of my family members have addiction problems... my moms side mostly... so i have to be aware of that
