Cricut tells YOU what to cut...YOU tell Wishblade what to cut. Cricut is quicker by means of having pre-made shapes. Wishblade ( or QK Silhouette) you can customize with your own fonts. Kind of like...if you love photshop and creating custom things...Wishblade is for you. :o)

Cricut or Wishblade? Wishblade.

This is the place to go for die cut info: Paperthreads

There are two other brands that are just like the WB. Same machines but different add-ons/support.

I'm saving up for a KnK. The Pazzle and KnK does more, like cut chipboard and such but KnK have more control.

Cricut Expression or Silhoutte? I've been debating for a month on which one to get. Thoughts?

For those of you who have Cricut - do you find it is a challenge to store the cartridges?

I have a Cricut and I think it's great. It's especially great for cardmaking. I used my Cricut a lot when I created my LO for Project Catwalk Week 1. I made the clouds, sun, city scene, flower stems, "Family", all with the Cricut. You can see it here.

A few other LOs I used my Cricut on:
This one I made the butterfly and flowers.

This one I made the camera, little family, and arrow block.

This one I made the tag itself, and the couple.

So I haven't tried any others but I am really happy with the Cricut and the ability to do all different sizes and effects. ;-)

I have a cricut and a sizzix. love both. would love a wishblade, but it's not in the budget.

if you want a deal on a sizzix, check out their outlet store on ebay. i bought mine for like $47 and it came with dies and papers. I got the big kick in pink. I really wanted the black and pink new one, but hey, if it's cheaper to buy the plain pink one, well i'll go for it. ;) it was 20% off the buy it now price, plus it had free shipping.

I just ordered a Cricut Expressions yesterday and CAN'T wait for it to come! I've never been a die-cut person, and totally love to design my own stuff. I did some hard-core research and found out there is a third-party program called "Sure Cuts A Lot" that has really great reviews that will allow you to take any true-type font and cut it, and any image/sketch/drawing can be converted over to allow for your own custom designs. I am a Mac person, and this program is Mac compatible and is super easy to use. I am really excited to try out this new world and I'll let you guys know how it goes.
